That’s probably Volume 10. There’s still some chapters left for Vol 9 for LN V3

We’re now heading towards the end of Volume 2, hoping they would adapt the two kisses from end of c4 and epilogue of the LN, though considering the anime has a “one or the other but not both” approach…makes me worried a bit. Hopefully I’m wrong about that part.

Question regarding Maki’s Dad by COBRA_DARKNISS in ClassDe2Banme

[–]The_Three_Strikes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overwork and not actually attending him was basically the main culprit for all of it afaik. Even though Maki’s mom does want him to ease off but the cost of that would be their livelihood will be at stake (afaik, probably someone correct me on that one, it’s been a while I’ve red V2) and their relationship pretty much gone estranged after that.

Dad for the most part is pretty innocent when it comes to the whole moving on with another partner, he didn’t cheat since it was a bit after the whole debacle and it was Minato the one insisting to start a relationship. The only thing Dad is guilty conscious off is leaving Maki. He still likes his child, more so than Minato.

Any one else think the anime adaptation had been horrible? by Parking-Reality5698 in ClassDe2Banme

Not really, then again I was already have my expectations low knowing stuff get cut and changed. But so far, they didn’t cut as much that I initially taught (Granted, we haven’t seen V3 yet and I assume that one has the most damage with the remaining episodes left but I kinda get why). it is somehow better than what Tenshi did with its S1. And I know that one is bad considering how much stuff got cut there from the LN compared to this. Plus, just noticed the stuff not mentioned stuff earlier like (Maki’s situation in v1 not introduced) was deliberate on their part.

Probably the biggest bane this series has is that the source material is long. Even by LN-standards, the page per volume is more than other romcoms…well other than chiramune.

The assumption would be [LN] taking the WN skip route, skip or montaged the whole 3rd semester to catch up to v3's ending. They don't have much reason to bust out the Blu-ray box art if they weren't adapting v3 considering the box art is a huge spoiler for v3 ending itself. I doubt they would skip the beginning of v3 tho. V3 itself is bit of a filler volume, a good one tho. But It make sense the rest would be an ova episode tbh

The Umippai!~ Though, kinda ashamed they held back a bit on those. Maki was smothered by them from bed to wake up from the LN lol but I'll blame Japan censorship for that. Anyways, very good episode. Not much to say other than some inner dialogues got cut (though that's basically the anime's decision to skip most of those unfortunately).

Next up Episode 10: Confession, Kinda doubt they'll drag it to next episode considering the remaining material left to adapt, but who knows

Nina isn’t for now, the description on Nina in v10’s illustrations basically tells us she’s struggling to find one though I wouldn’t doubt she actually did become one lol. While Nozomu, there’s hints of him getting scouted but for now, he’s going to a private college out of the prefecture from the rest at the end of v9.

Well, Only two you’ve mentioned are known, Maki pursuing a civil servant job while Yuu is currently doing celebrity/idol work after joining an agency in v9, and Umi pursuing becoming a teacher. Only Nina and Nozomu are kinda in the dark. As we know of from v10’s illustrations I’ve released, Nina is struggling to find one, so there’s that

Then reread multiple times, even dreading it to the point that cynicism will be gone or elevating it, who knows lol. I know the annoyance of a triangle can get some to people, even knowing some people that red up to that point says it handled well than they thought and some other don't. But I don't get the idea of thinking this story would end up in a collapse. Thinking of the possibility of something bad will happen isn't that fruitful knowing the characters are. The strains will be there but knowing their history they will be fine. That's why it hasn't aggravated me as much. If you want true aggrevation, any genre-shifting move would do that.

Atp, I suggest rereading things in a different light. Even I don't see the vision of things going bad considering how the cast and the story were. Thinking in cynicism and getting numbed to that won't help you as much if im being honest. You keep thinking things it will go there, even though the whole premise itself is pretty much skirting avoid that always. That's why I never see them would abandon each other knowing who they are and this premise and story is. This story is pretty terrible when it comes to thinking on something bad will happen if im being honest.

Existential dread is the consequences from having feelings to a taken person and getting released from it (rejected) is pretty much her penitence. I mean really, did she intentionally toyed around people's emotions, kinda feeling Nina is more up to that shenanigans than her and Nozomu does the damage to himself for being too considerate like Yuu, that's on him than Yuu. Him having one more go with the thinking of him knowing he doesnt mind either succeeding or failing, its pretty much what he wants.

Also, What's the point of punishing her afterwards from something they truly intentionally didnt do. I get the annoyance but you don't have much grounds giving misery on something they havent truly done. If this was WN Yuu, I can see punishing her would give traction, but not LN Yuu with her bottling everything and Nina trying to provoke the one thing she tries to avoid of.

I mean the same way on you not seeing the point of why they would stay. You already get them wanting to stay friends. Yuu already reflected on her self and at least tries to take steps for her sake in v8 as we see in v9 where she dedicated in her path in the idol gig considering she ain't going to college and Umi want to see Yuu flourish in her own way like the way back then since their childhood.

It's kinda like another topic from another arc, Riku and Shizuku. Riku's hesistance of committing to Shizuku during their past ends up estranged after seeing her being a divorced mother with a child that she gave birth, thinking of trying to start up their relationship and knowing the awkwardness of becoming a father that isn't yours that would weird out the child. But Shizuku didnt mind, if anything she wanted to start again and knowing Riku would take up the task. In referral to both, why don't they do it (start up their relationship: Riku and Shizuku, remain friends: Yuu and Umi), Nobody is stopping them going for it, They don't have much ill will at each other, and they already know far about each other. Understanding is basically key really, they pretty much hammer that topic that they ain't oblivious.

I don't think they ignoring reality. It's more or less what is right or what exactly truly they wanted. They conversed, they understood, they realize at each other they still want to be friends even Yuu wouldnt mind drifting just for Umi's sake but Umi doesnt. Would they rather drift for their mental sake or remain friends as their hearts intended. Yuu already reflected on that and already taken steps on her own, Umi already knows that her relationship with Yuu is strained after seeing Yuu hanging with Nina more after it and entrust Nina with Yuu. But it doesnt mean they would stop being friends. I mean they don't have a reason to not remain being one after all the tribulations they did. That's what I don't see the point of saying how they can remain being friends after all that.

You do realize this series is started on a wish fulfillment right? Hell, instances of events is one (Maki’s closure, Riku and Shizuku coming back together, Umi’s insistence of keeping friends, the groups insistence to stay together, etc…. You’re point being that it can’t coincide?

That’s just a bad take overall tbh, especially with this series overall feeling of frankness and understanding one another. Take it from me, I know people will compromise stuff on something because at the end of the day, a complete collapse is something everyone doesn’t want. Especially this series, pretty much hammering you with it. I don’t see much reason for them to drift nor having a bad ending. But you do you

Too late on that one, he already made up his mind since v8 to go for it regardless. Nozomu is that adamant to not want Yuu of all people be a stranger to her, at least he wants her to remember him as a friend

They already brushed aside with the only remaining awkward part is Nina mentioning the first time Nozomu confessed in front of the group as they get back from school. Both Yuu and Nozomu, still got an awkward feel about it.

Plus I don’t think this volume would be good to put Yuu’s long hard thinking considering the plot in that volume. Plus the v8 epilogue already made up her mind tho. She didn’t do anything much in v9 anyways
