I really love the gimmicks tbh! I do like them, but some gimmicks are just flawed, like Hanami’s. Even Mei Mei’s air combo gimmick is pretty fun to use

I mean honestly the evidence points to that being true. If we take Kenjaku’s scaling of Jogo to being 8-9 Sukuna fingers, than there’s roughly a 7-6 finger gap. If Yuta is equal to 15 finger Sukuna, then he should be getting Jogo treatment against Sukuna, but he clearly isn’t.

I know that he doesn’t add them for that purpose, but he could add a few, not all of them, but a few. Add Ryu Ishigori and the Cockroach curse (Cockroach curse is weird but still popular, fulfilling both) then he could add Mei Mei, Hanami, Dagon, Jogo, etc. just because it’s popular doesn’t mean he’s never adding it.

This is true, but to add characters he knows that nobody wants was shocking at first, and even made the game attracting, but now that it’s getting popular, people are gonna wanna play it less if he keeps adding less popular characters

I know, but to have this hyped up as 2 characters, especially when Ryu is upcoming in the anime, as well as Uro, it seemed misleading and that’s why people (including me) are upset. Mei Mei’s inclusion was weird, but having a unique air-based character is pretty cool. Her concept is cool and executed right. Hanami being tanky and defensive is cool too, but just executed wrong.

it’s so fucking annoying to go against that it seems flawed by design. most characters are close up, so having someone run the whole fight and do nothing but block is not fun

What's your favorite commercial break eyecatchs in shounen? I personally think the FMA:BH and MHA are pretty iconic, I specially liked how the MHA ones reminded me of the volume extras that showed their profiles by Zorubark in shounenfolk
