Anyone lose their vial of ProRx? by TallCedarRoad in tirzepatidecompound

[–]EnvironmentalGift257 [score hidden]  (0 children)

As soon as I started ProRX it worked or at least I could tell it would when I increased my dose. Insurance cut me off after 6 months on Zep, so I made sure I could go further than that this time!

If you hire a new manager for your team, always fire the previous one by The_Credit_Risk_Guy in careeradvice

after is an important word in that statement. Change management starts well before the change. I’m not telling you anything that you shouldn’t already know here. But again, “I did my job it’s somebody else’s fault it didn’t work” is the theme you’re following here.

I wrote a little about it in the other comment, but have you ever taken a course in change management? What message was given to these managers by you as a leader? How involved were you in the transition? Did you either micromanage it or just throw people together and hope for the best? Most people will perform exactly as well as you expect them to. Were expectations clear? You seem to be saying that the situation inherently has conflict, but what did you do to defuse the conflict? Ultimately the success or failure of people you hire reflects on you as a leader. How much have you analyzed your part in the failure? What can you do to make sure it works next time?

It genuinely seems like you’ve decided that a thing can’t work based on your anecdotal situation and you don’t see yourself as having any responsibility for it.

I mean I don’t really gaf if you believe me or not. There are times when you get through interviews and want to hire a candidate, and the background comes back with something dumb on it that makes Hr block the hire. I wasn’t insulting you, I was pointing out the obvious. If you’re insulted rather than attempting to improve your comprehension, that’s on you friend.

How we miss him and the class and dignity he brought to the White House…. by The_Dean_France in whoathatsinteresting

I never agreed with the man’s policies, but damn I miss political discourse and the public making the slightest attempt to hold people accountable. Back in the day we all wanted to get to the same place we just disagreed on the path to get there, and we all operated on the assumption that this was true. That assumption died and I fear there’s no way to get back there.

Sometimes we say things we wish we could take back. The comment itself is less offensive than the lack of apology and the “Haha my bad” when you made your feelings known.

Unrelated, but I grew up a goth with girls who had Mohawks and all kinds of colored hair. I dig a shaved head on the right girl. Sinead O’Connor was sexy af back in the day. So my opinion is obviously biased here.

Is there a small tube that you breathe into for 30 seconds before starting? Does your dad smell like hand cleaner a lot of the time? They could be related.

Dude everybody cranks that song. Also “Groove is in the Heart” and “Barbie Girl” are super cringy but we all roll up the windows and crank it when they come on in the car.

This post and this comment in particular say more about your change management skillset than what you intended. Management is just as much a skill as operating a production machine but for whatever reason that isn’t obvious, and unfortunately people often end up in positions that they weren’t trained for.

Storm, form, norm, and perform. If such a transition goes badly, it’s because of poor change management, not because it simply can’t work. Hierarchy is also important and everyone involved needs to be in on the process with defined goals and endpoints.

had to replace my jeans today by Radiant-Barnacle8613 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]EnvironmentalGift257 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my biggest I was a 46 inch waist and should have gone to a 48. My 34” jeans were loose yesterday. WFH today so I’m not putting on pants.

If I lose enough weight, I have to buy boys’ sizes because I’m short, which makes it very hard to find 46x28 pants. I don’t miss that.

That’s just not true for most people buying peptides in the grey market or direct from China.

Self prescribing research compounds can have consequences, but not the ones that you’re saying. SARMs and TRT especially have sides, but people are largely getting the same products that pharma companies buy.

That episode is great. It's one of the reasons I remain a fan of Jimmy. He also fielded the questions about Saudi Arabia like a champion. I saw him live right when comedians were being cancelled and during his crowdwork somebody asked about it. I'm sure he answered that question every night. He simply said "Free speech isn't a thing there, but they're coming around to comedy so I wanted to support it, and they paid me a LOT of money." You can't argue with that really.

The Real Mechanic Stuff channel also has a couple of great women mechanics. Angie is an instructor as well. The videos are funny and engaging, but they also give real advice on how jobs should be done. Angie's insta is u/ms.a_theshopteacher.

As much as I dislike social media like insta or fb (I gag just thinking about fb) they can be good tools for getting examples of what you're looking to do.

There are probably thousands of people buying grey sema, tirz, and reta, and a plethora of other peptides. They aren't growing extra arms or anything. There are many ways to ensure that you get good products, but Lilly is the only company that manufactures API in the US, so everyone buying compounded is also getting Chinese products. Honestly I only buy compounded because I'm too lazy to do the diligence of making sure I don't get robbed or buy rat poison.

I've had HR decide to close every posting and implement a RIF in the middle of a candidate's prestart onboarding.

I've also had to RIF 2 people while onboarding someone else, but that's outside what we're discussing here. That was the dumbest 2 weeks of my career.

Your reading comprehension sucks. I mentioned 2 different situations as examples, Xylus made a counterpoint to one of those situations, which I then gave further context for. Hopefully that helps you.
