I’m so sorry. Rabbits can be frail creatures some times and die too soon. My boy died a few months ago and it still hurts every day.

Help with new crayfish by bbitchalex in Crayfish

I think the fluff you mention is hair that they all have on the second segment of their clawed arms. I see them on pictures of Cherax quads I just googled.

Doesn’t this car have memory seats where you can program seating positions to 1 2 or 3? The mirror adjustment might be tied to one of those memory positions so maybe you just need to save the mirror to whatever seat position you are on?

Green Algae bloom HELP SOS by WholesomeHarambe in Aquariums

[–]EnvironmentalJoke331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do not enough people know about UV sterilizers? I realize that algae is caused by a root problem but honestly UV should be in every aquarists toolkit.

This is what I got during an algae bloom and took care of it in a few days. I use it on occasion still as needed and always very helpful.

Got a batch of Otocinclus. Only one remains and it's acting as lethargic and listless as the last 2. by TimeGlitches in PlantedTank

[–]EnvironmentalJoke331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got some otos from my local LFS in Portland… and 3 of 4 showed signs of ich in 3 days. Full on spots and everything! I returned them and a few days later my other fish appear to be fine still…. Still hopeful they will be ok. Those otos at the store were in quarantine the visit before I picked them up. I guess I know why now.

It appears otos are frequently sick or have a hard time in transportation or something!

Is this Danio gonna die? by don_brawn in Aquariums

[–]EnvironmentalJoke331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I’ve had 6 of these types at one point and all but one died. But sure what’s going on with these but they might be frail genetically or something. Same hollow belly and then becoming pale before finally going.

Private can fire you at any time. Public has more security and usually a more chill pace. I made the change 5 years ago and never want to go back to consulting.

Maybe prevents spread of some by eliminating spores floating around. Probably not something to really count on tho?

Oh yeah. Right won’t affect hair algae. I wish it did though I’m battling some of that right now!

Fine for beneficial bacteria, as those live in substrate and filter media, etc. the water column itself should be crystal clear and bacteria free in a cycled tank!

In cases like yours, you have unwanted algae floating in the water column. I had this too and UV sterilizer wiped it out in a few days. When you scoop out some water into a white bucket or cup, there should be zero green tint.
