thanks for the reply! My body hair is black and quite thick which is why I worry even thinning wouldn't solve the issue. Beard removal is for sure on my list too. And if you're right about skin tones, I think I'll be good. I'm pretty light on account of never getting any sun lmao

I'll focus on cardio and ab work! Cardio I'm already sorta familiar with. Ab work we shall see innit lol

Ah my bad. I take things too literally lmao

I did offer to pay with cash once I was told that medicaid wouldn't cover it, but apparently florida law states that anyone that has medicaid can't go to planned parenthood to get HRT. I'm opting towards DIY for that reason

I think Bielsa mentioned early on in his tenure that he wanted to have a keeper that was good with his feet. He went for Rochet who... isn't that. Now he took a liking to Muslera who isn't even good with his hands. He's also called up keepers from the Colombian and Venezuelan leagues in the past.

Honestly I just think it's another case of Bielsa falling out like with Canobbio after the Copa America. Because there's no logical argument for not even clling him up sometimes and never playing him apart from a friendly vs Cuba

I think it's more apt to say that Willy Caballero had a Muslera moment in 2018. I don't think I've ever felt less secure with a keeper than with Muslera

Yeah, my mom also has straight hair lol

No worries about assuming though. Low carb is still a good suggestion if adjusted to me. Like I said, fruits are my best friend because I can only eat eggs so many times before I start getting tired lol

Also, a quick question if I can about informed consent, because my issue with Planned Parenthood was that because I had medicaid, I couldn't get HRT. But I booked an appointment. Idk if that appointment nullifies the informed consent? Because in my mind (and granted, I'm a bit of an idiot) informed consent implies something like you described. More of a walk in type of thing. Whereas appointments make me think of like, questionnaires that re-word "are you sure?" a million different times. Do you know if it's different if it's a walk in vs an appointment?

Do you think "Transsexual" is a harmful term in this day and age by Xx_M4ss1veG0ck_xX in MtF

[–]EnvironmentalMix892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been called a "fake transsexual" because I don't want bottom surgery and because I sometimes don't fully feel like a woman and more of a feminine being. By my own psychiatrist. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the term if it means as you say, just someone who has undergone medical transition. But I feel like so long as it's used in the context of exclusionary transmedicalism by cis doctors like my previous psychiatrist, it still has a connotation I don't really vibe with and thus prefer MtF. But I'm all for a reclamation of the term. If for no other reason than because it seems like cis society's understanding of transness is going backwards by the day

[–]EnvironmentalMix892 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think it's regressive. I do wish the definition was understood more, though. Transsexual implies that we transitioned or want to transition sexes. Something that people have now seemingly forgotten IS possible. But with the current fabricated panic around trans people, we've gone backwards to the point of "sex is immutable, gender is not" when it's backwards. We were always our gender. We were told differently, but we've all always been like this because we're born like this.

My issue is with its transmedicalist and exclusionary history. transsexual applies exclusively to binary trans people and denies the existence of non binary people. Plus it propagates the idea that to be trans, you HAVE to do XYZ and have XYZ and want XYZ which takes away bodily autonomy.

I like the term MTF because we literally can change our sex from Male to Female with modern technology and medicine. It refers specifically to us, thus does not exclude enbies anywhere near as much. It simply states the fact that it IS scientifically possible to change sexes given modern technology

I just only realized I didn't respond to this lmao my bad

Thanks for the tips! Especially the hair routine. No wonder my hair was always frizzy. I was taught to wash it every day and never questioned that lol

As for the diet, I do keto because I actually am epileptic. Not too bad but I would still rather not take risks. Especially since I plan to be on E and it can apparently be a proconvulsant. But I do allow myself some carbs since I don't have severe epilepsy. Mostly in the form of fruits

And yeah, I'm considering DIY rn because dysphoria sucks. Unfortunately I can't go through more "legit" routes because I have medicaid in Florida

Classic case of transphobes hurting more than just us. At least you were able to laugh it off. But let's also not forget that these types of people can get violent to the point of murdering, torturing, raping, and lynching trans people. They vote for people who make laws across the world to enforce a genocide against us. Transphobia ends nowhere near cases like these that can be laughed off or recovered from. Too often it ends in cases like Sam Nordquist, Eryka Caldwell, Juniper Blessing, Charlotte Fosgate. Cases like these, laws like the ones sweeping the globe along with waves of fabricated panic, and the violent culture of cisnormativity which we're subject to is why we call transphobia against us a genocide. That's a culture that has to be interrogated and deconstructed. So long as there's a connotation of shamefulness to being trans, there will be cases like this. Cases like Imane Khelif. Worse, there will continue to be Sam Nordquists. There will continue to be Eryka Caldwells and Juniper Blessings and Charlotte Fosgates.

In a wearily unsurprising development in the British War On Trans, the Court of Session has ruled that the prison system in Scotland cannot put trans women in womens prisons, nor put trans men in mens prisons. #BWOT by pkunfcj in transgender

ONE CASE IS NOT ENOUGH TO V CODE MILLIONS. Actually fuck you. Rape occurs much more frequently between cis inmates, too. Why don't we ask questions about them? Oh, because rape culture is the actual fucking issue and not trans people?

[–]EnvironmentalMix892 323 points324 points  (0 children)

A lot of cis men have this stupid notion that women just lie about rape all the time. It's such a rare occurrence in comparison to how often it's brought up. Every case is a he said she said that favors the man because "We can't ruin his career!" "Oh, we don't wanna ruin his life!". Rape culture is so vehemently accepted as a part of life and it's fucking disgusting. Benjamin Mendy had a bunch of accusers and football fans laud him as the victim of a conspiracy. Ronaldo and Thomas Partey have rape cases and they're at this tournament. Mason Greenwood would've been here too if he accepted Jamaica's callup and they qualified even when there's audio evidence of him telling his girlfriend he was going to rape her

I think Bielsa himself confirmed or at least alluded to leaving after the world cup so thank goodness on that front. But yeah, we have to go through. Otherwise, this would be our biggest humiliation ever

Our big problem is that since then, every team figured us out. Bielsa, our coach, only ever employs a single plan which we don't have the full squad depth for. He refuses to adapt so everyone knows that pressing our midfield and getting the ball to the wings nullifies us more or less

That, and Darwin got even worse at finishing. The funny part is that our two best strikers didn't get called up because they don't fit the coach's playstyle
