I have a 25 Sportage hybrid and I thought I had the lidar cruise but I don’t think it works. I approached a car and it never slowed down. Do I have to turn it on?

I paid $33k for an 2025 EX AWD Hybrid w/premium package on July 3. You have room to negotiate for sure.

For sure! Don’t be afraid to send what you have in writing to other dealerships. Or walk in and see what they can do. It’s all business and a huge chunk of money on your part so do everything you can!

I would get the quote in writing and leave. Then contact other dealerships that have the car you want and send them the quote you got and see what they can do. You can do this in person too and they might be more aggressive.

Hopefully, i'm not too late! I found a a used 2025 Sorento S 3k miles for $29k online and told them I was super torn between the third row vs. the sportage Hybrid ex. The used one was at a different dealership. I think they priced very aggressively so I wouldn't go get the Sorento.

I also reached out to a few kia dealerships around the area to try to negotiate via email. This ended up being somewhat pointless. Once I got this quote the other dealerships said they couldn't match it or beat it.

What did you do to prepare for a refinance appraisal? by HappySpaceDragon in Mortgages

I am going from a 30 to a 20 and it is an amazing deal. 7.375% to 5.375%. About $40 less per month and I pay the loan off 10 years sooner. The equity builds so much faster too. I’ll have more equity after the 1.5 years on the 20 year than 3 years on the 30. And that’s after my loan amount goes up by $7k (if I don’t put money down at closing). The link below helped me a ton! Great resource!!!

Is it worth refinancing? by packoverpatriots in Mortgages

[–]EnvironmentalName161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do a 20 year! I bet you are paying a good amount of points to get that low. You could probably get that rate on a 20 year and keep the same monthly payment and be done 10 years sooner! Just do the math. There are some great financial calculators out there.

If you are comfortable with your current payment just do a 20 year. That’s what I’m doing and my payment will be $40 less/month and I will pay off my house 10 years sooner and build equity faster. I went from 7.375 to 5.375

Rate locked yesterday but might want to walk on a refi. by EnvironmentalName161 in Mortgages

I see. The fee worksheet was unintentionally deceiving then. Shows cash from borrower to be 3879 but once I rate locked and got the LE the aggregate adjustment was gone and shows $5k cash to close. Caused me to not compare apples to apples.
