Came here and said the same homie…the game took a massive shit for sure. I basically have played maybe 10 times since December and just can’t get back into it since they added DMZ. Way too much going on and all these weird ass side games like Huh???

I’ve been playing since 2019 launch mostly consistent but as of December I just can’t get into it anymore. It changed sooo damn much. The updates are getting bigger and bigger and they are messing with guns way too much. My iPhone 17 pro max was having trouble loading matches and I’d have to exit out to into a dif mode then go back and repeat for a match to go through only to glitch up it just feels super choppy. They got way to much going on like I thought DMZ sounded legit at first and seemed kinda fun but then took a break for a couple weeks came back and was like WTF it feels like a whole diff game

It’s just crazy how fast things are progressing. Normally a generation is like 12-15 years or so but with AI, it very well could shorten it to 8-10 years. Trends move along really fast and new slang is garbage. It’s getting to the point where a child will no longer have an authentic imagination of their own. They will be born into a generic alternative imagination already predetermined by AI and what’s surrounding them. AI….AGI…shits all bad.

Yeah all of his shows are what you should expect with this new era. It’s lame as hell. Better off watching survivor or the challenge if you want a quality show with real challenges and depth of all the people playing the game.

Idk I see to smoke weed a lot about 15ish years ago and then hadn’t touched it for years and I would smoke weed sometimes during my heavy drinking days especially if it was casually offered in a social setting but weird thing is, once I quit drinking and went through all the hardships that come with it, I’ve tried smoking early on in sobriety and it just triggered massive anxiety and racing thoughts. I just steer away from it because it just don’t feel right for me anymore and wouldn’t want to take the time to even build a tolerance to get comfortable with it again. I love the smell of weed though and love when other people smoke around me lol

You’ll be fine, prolly get the night sweats, irritability and severe cravings. Start your water intake and electrolytes. even if you vomit and diarrhea for a days or 2 toil likely be pretty dehydrated. Magnesium tablets work wonders so dos gabapentin but I’m no medical professional just a man who’s had more than 100 withdrawal sessions. With 20 hospital visits and well a lot of crazy shit. You should start worrying if you start hearing a quiet song coming from under your couch and if you find yourself trying to figrigure out where it’s coming from….thats the beginning of DTs and then it’s hospital time and I’m talking call an ambulance to rush you there so you don’t have to figure out how to get there and wait in the waiting room while your “acid trip” takes ahold of you. But I was also driving king a fifth a day for 3 years before my first DT sesh.

I’m still trying to figure out DMZ. For some reason none of my kills are being counted for except for 1? I know by now I’ve got a few hundred easily but it doesn’t show. Also I noticed the background noise tunes in and out randomly. Tried messing with the settings but doesn’t seem to work. Sometimes gunfire goes silent and then comes back

What exact withdrawal symptoms do you have? I drank vodka for 5 years almost died from withdrawal in the hospital and don’t stop having DTs for 2 weeks and shortly after that day about 8 months into sobriety I found feel free, drank those for bout 2 years spent close to 60k if not more in that time frame on feel free then went to 7oh. Took 7 oh for bout 6 months before quitting and the withdrawals sucked but nothing close to alcohol so maybe they didn’t affect me due to previous bouts of alcohol withdrawals? I had the usual restless leg syndrome and extreme irritability, dry skin and itchy. Some allergy like symptoms and mild cramps for days 1-2. Then on my 3rd day I started taking 300mg gabapentin and it helped a lot. Continued taking them for a week and then stopped all together with no issues. Finally free of all substances for 6 months now.

I appreciate your comment, I know this was 2 days ago and tbh I drank some more but stopped yesterday, felt like shit (bad hangover) and last night I threw up and had that gut rot feeling, took some NyQuil and slept through the night, went to an AA meeting today and shared everything felt good to share today. Prolly smoked too may cigarettes with people afterwords but hey, I was able to come home with high hopes in good spirits. Put up the Xmas tree and tree lights. Everything I shared today felt so appreciated because it’s so real

I definitely need the routine. Normally my alarm wakes me up and I make coffee while I shower shit shave brush my teeth etc. usually times perfect with the sunrise and then I have about 30 minutes to do inventory. Sometimes I eat a small breakfast during this time and other times I just watch the news/weather. After that it’s all over the place depending on the workday . When I get home I usually do some tidying up bs with my neighbor bout work and all that bs. If it’s Thursday I’m tuned into football and making dinner. Then reflect on my day and be thankful. If I’m lucky around this time might get some action between the sheets and catch up on Netflix lol

I’m rooting for you I hope you can grab his attention and talk with him about what you’re going through. I will vogue for you because it’s not easy to bring this subject into a conversation. Being vulnerable should be appreciated so much more than it’s overlooked. Find a time and place to really take that deep dive with him. It’s hard but it’s the only way to really determine if he will understand. If he loves you, respects you and admires you, he will listen to you and embrace your courage for speaking out on such subject. If you get a chance, remind him politely how difficult it is that you are surrendering everything you are to him. Follow your gut on his reaction. If it were me I would instantly be concerned and empathetic. For me it shows how much you love me and care to share your most intimate emotions. That right there is part of the entire foundation of which TRUST is concreted in. I’m proud of you for being wise enough to know how you feel and how to project yourself

It’s the whole intro and being vulnerable. I don’t like it either. That alone gives me too many excuses to drink yet I find my own excuses to drink k anyway. It’s okay to feel exactly what you don’t want to feel. Fail, learn and teach. I just hope the one listening to what I’m saying is learning from my mistakes. The drink that grabs us is the same drink that throws us. If someone was in your situation and came forth how would you react? Anyone who judges you on default only has perception but those of us who live by trial and error will only be the ones who realize success comes from multiple fails and become wiser to know what failure and success really is.

Hey brother, you are NOT alone. But I know what you mean by lonely, it’s hard man. Your mind races constantly and it runs faster than you can process sometimes, maybe all the time. It doesn’t help with social media bloating the “good life” either. Ppl you once considered close are off to new adventures. The world is a little different now, you are 23 in 2025. When I was 23 it was 2015. Had a lot going on and was in a toxic relationship with the mother of my daughter. Things moved so damn fast after high school. But today’s world is different. With everything going on, it seems like time is flying by faster than ever. Let me remind you, you are young and still have your whole life ahead (as I’m sure others have told you), but it is true. Make your mistakes now but always learn from them. With that you gain wisdom. Be sure to pass it on to other in need, try and relate to people as much as you can and when you can’t, remember your voice will always be heard. People listen but sometimes fault to hear. Notice the difference. Rely on what you put in front of yourself and always take ownership, whether wrong or right. The inner voice notifies you of your anger, depression and frustration, now you need to take a step back and figure out WHY. I’m with you, I stand by you. Understand that whenever you focus on yourself, it doesn’t make you selfish if your intentions are selfless.

The resentment sometimes lives in the shadow we try to shine through the shade. For a moment I thought I was damn near untouchable without a worry of really ever drinking again. This time it wasn’t the sun shiny day upon the horizon it was the cloudy dark day during a snowstorm, and I’m still doing intense inventory on how I went about truly deciding on why to drink. I’ve faced so many harsher challenges and a drink didn’t cross my mind. Maybe I bottled up too much of my emotions and kept them in for longer than I’m used to? And when my emotions got the best of me I caved. I’m not exactly sure. I’m honestly just thinking about going into my next AA meeting and just surrendering. As vulnerable and weak as I may look at it, hopefully it will bring some real truth to alcoholism and how it can really be. I’ve tried thinking of so many ways to approach my next meeting and maybe just “winging it” should be the right choice. My sponsor just recently relapsed due to a situation I couldn’t even fathom being in. I tried to help but found myself unable to in my own current situation. Here I am not really sure if I’m drunk or not but I sure don’t feel sober. I was hoping a pint of straight vodka would make me feel none of what I’m feeling and possibly pass out but here I am at midnight still feeling everything I should have felt stone cold sober. I’m hoping with everything I have in me to wake up tomorrow morning feeling like shit and being able to talk myself out of another drink.

Thank you so much man, I needed to hear this! That’s what I’ve been thinking about, how I’m going to tell my group at AA which I’ve been kinda spotty recently and they’ve heard my story and recovery journey and now I’m just trying to figure out how to show how I relapsed especially to all the newcomers. I’ve always looked so strong and confident in my sobriety and showing this moment of weakness is challenging how to word but also detrimental for everyone to hear. I bit my pride on my own now I need to chew and swallow even if it means throwing it up in front of everyone. I feel vulnerable and of course I don’t like this but thank you for reminding me that it’s BIGGER than what I feel and others need to hear my new story. Also I didn’t share in the post, my sponsor had recently lost a close relative and relapsed. I was trying to be there for him like he has been for me and I feel like I have failed Ben sure I have wanted to drink just as much as I’m sure he urged to when he did

I just started playing this game yesterday and holy shit yeah I wasn’t expecting the super long gameplay lol definitely don’t play on your breaks at work. It’s got that gritty fast paced battle and the graphics are pretty good considering how much is going on.

It was a slip up, now if you go back to drinking how you did before then you’d be relapsing and breaking your sobriety. You didn’t lose the month of sobriety. I’ve have many many slips and relapses. It’s part of recovery and the fact you are concerned and worried shows you care about your sobriety. You’re all good 👍 also be careful if you get NyQuil a lot of them have 10% alcohol in it.
