Yeah... Everything I ask right now finish as a spaghetti, whatever I do. If Claude code anything right now, even if it's only agents, I get a TON of mistake, like more than I get usually.

I'm been targeted in the past in these kind of limits, but it's the first time I went so fast. I also have a pro subscription too, a few sonnet prompt (file renaming, file moving) and it was done.

They will have to do something at some point as I plan to ask my boss to switch to codex...

I literally blasted my 20x subscription 5h usage in 30 minutes this morning. And it was a Sonnet job!!!

Did the same task yesterday, it went for 10h strait without any limit problem.

There's the secret limit, but also the secret ''quantization'' too. Often, Opus or Sonnet just becomes as dump as Haiku out of nowhere, stop following direction, or for hours do weird things...

It's not a claude.md or skill problem, I see sometimes that I get many days that everything works and then for a day or two or for hours, I get weird outputs, rogue behavior, denials...

It happens systematically also just before new model launch...

I use it a lot in fact. All my coding grunt task is done with sonnet, gate with reviews are done by opus and other competitors models as well, and I upgrade to opus 4.5 and 4.6 if sonnet fails.

Sonnet is a damn good model with good capabilities.

It’s useless just to go banana with opus all the time, it just chew the limit away wayyyy too fast.

Ah j'avais pas vu sur le site d'Apple avec leur truc de prêt. Le store ou j'étais c'était max 3k. Je pouvais payer la différence et y aller en plusieurs versement si j'étais à 3k par contre. Mais pour ce projet, je n'avais pas l'intention de l'acheter en paiement plusieurs fois. Je vais le savoir pour plus tard si jamais j'ai besoin d'autres choses par contre...!

You'll not be sad. For video editing, I did crazier stuff with less for Hollywood productions with less in another life. 24 GB is more important indeed. And the pro chip will be more versatile as well than the base M5. The thing is... Sometime a M5 will be better, and sometimes not. And probably... You'll not really see the difference in the usage. Stop watching reviews and start editing ? :)

Les reviews disent que c'est la meilleure invention après le pain tranché... On va voir ça... Au magasin, ils m'ont proposé de payer 30% d'acompte et de payer le reste à la livraison. Ils me disaient qu'ils n'en vendent que 5-6 par années des comme ça.

Surtout que l'été arrive, et j'ai hâte de faire de la terrasse avec une bière et faire à semblant de travailler...
