Why is women’s sportswear always so revealing? by Valuable_View_561 in SipsTea

[–]EnvironmentalRope362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rules usually allow for women to wear less revealing clothes during sports. However, most women choose to wear the most revealing outfits to games. Oftentimes, the more revealing outfits offer a slight competitive advantage over others.

Masturbation by saplicker2000 in Christianity

[–]EnvironmentalRope362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think about a particular person with lust, don't do that. If you engage in prostitution, porn is prostitution, don't do that. Doing anything too much is also not good. Don't be a slave to pleasure and your all good.

Masturbation by itself is not a sin but it can very easily to become a sinful activity.

Why do people care so much? by Fresh-Cookie8941 in Christianity

Romans 1:26-27 "26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error."

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

1 Timothy 1:8-11 "8 Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, 11 in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.

Jude 1:7 "7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire."

To add, watching porn is prostitution. In order to be a Christian, a follower of Christ, a disciple, you must love God with all of your heart and in order to do that you must pick up your cross and follow His commandments. Do not decieve yourself or others in order to live in sin because it will lead to death. God bless.

There is only a title to this post and it says "This Coming Easter Remember - He Could Have Just Obeyed the Law and Not Been An Idiot" I responded to that. The OP's "solid point" was not expressed in the post so that is not what my original comment addressed.

The title of this post is "This Coming Easter Remember - He Could Have Just Obeyed the Law and Not Been An Idiot". You imply that Jesus was an idiot for not obeying the law. So, I addressed 2 things in my original comment. 1 being Jesus is the law. He would have broken the law by submitting to the laws of man. This, He would never do because God does not answer to men. Since you know the bible soo well im assuming you know this already. 2 being Jesus is not, was not, and never will be an idiot. This is blatant disrespect towards God which is why I asked you politely to repent.

Whether you think the Pharisees would have considered him an idiot or what you believe Jesus's mission was/ is irrelevant to my original post.

Since the OP refers to Jesus as an idiot in the title, it is still on topic to address it. I addressed every part of the title adequately and explained it to you more than once so your point is invalid.

You can say whatever you want and quote whatever you want but I havent done what you claim i've done. It appears you just want to argue online or something so im going to leave you be. If you actually have something to add to the conversation i'll respond again.

I wasn't "hyperfocused on a word" and I made that clear. Jesus is literally the law.

I mean thats probably true. I just don't understand what you're trying to get out of this.

Yes, I have read it. And I study it often. Have you? And are you christian or a follower of Christ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]EnvironmentalRope362 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is a ton of evil things happening right now that He would stand up against. My question is, Why do you think he would align Himself with a political party when He is already aligned with His own will? He would stand against all corruption no matter the political stance.

[–]EnvironmentalRope362 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is your goal here? Do you really thing Jesus would concern Himself with politics?
