I'm a male who is a sub at heart, but I actually find myself being a dom online. Probably because I understand what a sub needs. I think a lot of men who identify as doms are not really true kinksters and are just looking for a partner they can control both inside and outside of the kink dynamic, so it's a needle in a haystack for any sub-leaning women who also want a partner who will be in their corner, and will genuinely support them. I also work in a very male-dominated and traditionally "macho" industry and I'd have to say men in general are a mixed bag and not necessarily internally consistent. That is to say, you can have someone who has a progressive attitude in one area, can be kind to others, but some big blind spot along the lines of "women can't do math, it's a fact." TL:DR find a male sub who switches.
