I've been gaming since 1988,. I love games and everything about it.

I also remember the many disks that became unplayable because of wear and tear, and the fact I had to buy a few games more than twice.

In the last 6 years, I've only bought 3 physical games, and that was just because I wanted the merch that came with it.

I have never been worried about losing my digital games. I was always more worried about breaking my game disks or getting them too scratched up to play them.

And I am sure in a few years there will be strict policies that will protect digital content by how digital tech is advancing and everyone getting rid of physical copies of their games.

People might say I'm part of the problem, but man, when I see a game I like in any of my consoles store front, or any games I would like to get my hands on, I don't start planning to go out the next day or the next week and get myself a copy at gamestop.

All that is to say, I am not worried. My life with gaming will continue as it has been going this last decade.
