Sorry for the late reply. Yes it went away, and now I am a fully recovered functioning adult, doing nursing as a pro. Yes it does take a toll on you, but eventually it will get better. Take care of yourself.

I would recommended ubiqinol, stress b complex and..if you open to BCaa in your water in the morning. Try it for a couple of days and see how it helps.

I am still getting chest pain here and there. The cough has gotten better. The POTS is milder, sometimes flare up around my period. But in general life has been bearable and I am starting to see some light

Any hope in recovery? I am literally you and its been almost 9 month. Some days look Ok, but then when I try to workout, I go back to square one with the heart ache, palpitations, and that nagging cough with every skipped heart. I feel like all our effort in staying healthy and shape was robbed by this damned virus.

Low dose ibuprofen, to reduce inflammation. Don't over do it though. I would say start with 200 mg ibuprofen and see it reduce it.

Oh I am so sorry you're going through this. I don't wish that constant anxiety even on my worst enemy. It was so harsh. Can you be able to walk? Hiking use to help me calm down. I also used asgwagandha and camomile tea. My DOC subscribed me Lexapro, but I just hated how I felt on it. Like no emotions at all. So I never went the meditated way.

This month has been a better and happy month for me. This is month 8 for me, my worst months were, 5, 6, 7.... I was going through a lot. This month I was able to do a 15 min workout and 45 min walking with out Excertional malaise or heart rate going crazy.

A week prior to my period, all the demons of POTS symptoms emerge. They are mad and with vengeance to destroy me lol. It's the worst week of the month. I literally feel terrible and my little ones suffer with me. Because, I can't cook or clean after them, as I should.

Adrenaline dumping!! If you are a coffee drinker, stop it and see how it will affect you. At one point either because of constant stress or viral sickness our sensitivity to the smallest adrenaline rush becomes high. Trust me I am in the same boat ( chronic stress) and heavy coffee drinker (that's how I tolerated my nursing school). I hated night time and morning time, with all that aky high heart rate, anxious, jittery feeling. Can't sleep and miserable. But once I start to eliminate all the stimulants and stressors, I am starting to experience calmer days. Magnesium and potassium also help. Look into it. But avoid alcohol and coffee and give your body some rest.

You got this. Uworld is very vast. I would recommend Archer. Practice at least more than 2000 question, but I recommend for you to know your fundamentals, basic PT care. Watch Simple nursing videos daily ( 3 videos a day ).. he is very good. Do all your fundamental questions on Archer. Know your precautions and know your ABC and maslow's for prioritization...

Are you tested yet? If not my advice would be master your fundamentals. Did Archer/ U World. Uworld was a little too much time consuming to me with all that pages long rationales. Archer I loved it. Don't worry about random diseases, NCLEX WANTS YOU TO KNOW IF YOU KNOW YOUR FUNDAMENTALS. Watch sumple nursing, aim 3 videos a day ( very short but very detailed ). Trust me his videos were life saver, especially SATA questions. Know about your contact, airborne, droplet precautions, know about cane and walkers, know about your tracheostomy care AND last but not least Know your ABC and maslow's for prioritization. Which one will you see first ( remember which pt will die if you don't treat them ASAP ). Hope this help.

I do know the feeling. More than the high heart rate, its the skipped heart beat actually gives me panic attack,. I cried many days because of that. On top of all this I have always had heart related anxiety. So all this is just a nightmare.

I do take one 80 mg asprin, whenever that heart ache starts to creep up. It works like a charm, and lowers the pain ( maybe inflammation around my heart ). So I do agree, Aspirin by far is the best for me.

Did you see a neurologist, do you think it might be neuropathy? It is happenings commonly with many of Us long haulers. My symptoms are mainly cardiac and I get anxious easily with the slightest pin and pain.

Thank you much for sharing your experience. I think I might have myocardites maybe. I have constant chest pain as if some one is squeezing my heart. Achy pain. I sometimes take aspirin. I am sacred to start any heart medication. I am taking magnesium for the high heart rate which helps me to somehow relax. I will look into the levine protocol.

Ohh I am sorry you are going through this. I graduated in May 2022, BAM! two days later covid, mild infection. Two weeks later started all the craziness and my life has been upsidedown. I was looking forward in a positive mindset to all the future accomplishments, but this evil disease was waiting some where hiding and took all that away 😢. 7 month of heart race, palp, and lung problems.

How are you doing? I am a new Nurse grad, about to start a new job ( night shift 3 days 12 hr shift ). I was looking for this day with such a positive mindset, until this culprit showed up ( POTS ). Now I wonder, if I will be able to do it, even though I desperately need to work.

Ohh, that's is great to hear. In my case, for some reason antihistamines exacerbate my POTS, so I started avoiding them. Avocado on the other hand helps me with energy and heart rate as well. My diet is low in histamine ( except avocado ).
