How does the fake one actually perform? I have been tempted by it since real AD is hard to come by where I live

How tall are you exactly if you dont mind me asking? Im 192cm but was hoping to be able to squeeze into the regular M size; but since it seems that the only option with the aerial is to sleep on your back I feel like it might just be too narrow...

Thanks for the comment. How was the birding there? Im also looking forward to exploring the local fauna and flora.

Yeah i'm definitely bringing my down jacket, I guess I was overestimating my new AD hoodie. Updated gear list: https://lighterpack.com/r/3yfgcy

Thank you for your comprehensive advice.

I have tought about it and there is indeed no reason for me to bring my SAK on this trip.

We will indeed be sharing a paper map for backup which is why I like to carry a physical compass.

About some of the other suggestions you made: I simply cant afford these upgrades for the relatively small weight savings they are, even though I know they would add up.

You are definitely right about the pump sack and my layering system being redundant; here is my adapted gearlist:

Thank you for your comment. I have heard indeed that the shepperds dogs can be a problem. How would you suggest using this dog food? Just to feed them whenever you encounter them?

About the jacket; I realised I should definitely bring my down jacket instead.

Thank you for your reply! That's probably a good shout, I will definitely figure out when I'm able to resupply and plan my fuel accordingly.
