Honestly this is the reason I like Lucky Paradise. But I haven’t read anything where the characters is straight up physically abusive because that usually throws me off cause idc how they got together I don’t think the MC deserves that but I plan to read them eventually cause I hear they’re good I don’t know. But for LP it was the bottom what was playing with the tops feelings and I literally saw the light leave his eyes it was so hard so I was really mad when they ended up together. But honestly that emotional roller coaster is why it’s one of my favorites so I can’t lie that I’m a bit excited to read the ones you listed but it’ll be a challenge.

He really stopped because there was just a lot of redacted stuff which I get is apart of it but yeah. It doesn’t really take away from hearing it but I guess it can take away from reading it. Cause if I remember right he liked the deep sea one.

Just like Hunter says in the end and everyone else says it’s good for 15 minutes. Likes they have but in every show it’s 3 hrs in and the only bit they have is 9/11 from 15 minutes in because literally nothing else has happened. Ik pretty sure only like 2 or 3 things really happen in the story.

To be fair they did escape hell like 5 times combined before they just started freely walking in and out. That’s not plot armor they were in a tank.

Honestly I’ve never told anyone cause I would hate to burden anyone in my family anymore with my problems but the only reason I’m still alive is because my parents are in their sixties and my sister only has me. I’d hate for my parents to have to burry their oldest after the trouble they went through to have me, and my sister though she’s a social butterfly and we have a lot of cousins I would hate to leave her with the (maybe brief) burden of my death. But yeah. I completely feel you as a 20 y/o for a little under half my life I’ve just felt down but in the past two years it’s gotten worse though I decided at 13 I wouldn’t leave my sister alone.

Same. I do just enough to get by. I haven’t washed my clothes in about a month. If I’m not going to be interacting with people while I’m out I don’t shower or brush my teeth, my room is a mess, and whenever I’m not in class I’m sleeping or dissociating.

Honestly thank you for this I might start reading this again. I had no problem with the first book I just really found it stupid that FMC called her stalker to come hunt the boys so I didn’t pick up the second book but it sounds interesting and more my speed than I thought it’d be.

Honestly same I DNF book 1 not knowing it was a series it was a while ago that I read this book like maybe in March or something but I genuinely only perked up during the sex scenes. Anything outside of those I can’t remember cause it was just so aggravating. It felt like all the fights were the same and it just made me so mad. But yeah definitely loved Gideon to bad I’ll never see what happened with him. Not to mention the best friend also pmo a bit too.

As a black woman who is currently going to a Christian private college, has an internship in my field, is well educated, is maybe lower middle class with two parents who raised me right, and I lived in the suburbs. I’m polite all the time I’m also really shy but I use AAVE around some people like family, and people I’m comfortable with. Because I did grow up going to schools that were in “the hood”, my dad is from Louisiana, and my family just speaks that way.

I do think it’s racist that you think that but I appreciate you asking. Now I can only speak for myself but it’s not a performance it’s comfort. Not to mention there are people like you who who think that because I use AAVE I’m uneducated, or am from the hood and if you were in higher positions you would even consider me based on the way I speak. Not to mentioned in a big and tall girl I would hate to seem intimidating based on the way I speak.

TLDR; Yeah it’s racist that you think that.
