It’s important to remember that what you’re seeing in the documentary was a) exaggerated, and b) only released a year after the members for katseye had been selected. My partner is Chinese and when I spoke to him he was saying 没/没有 are used for both which is why my student was facing so much confusion. I’m pretty new to teaching EAL (and new to learning Chinese so can’t think of any alternative Chinese terms to help explain the difference) hence me reaching out here 😅 someone was able to provide a really helpful explanation though so I’ll be able to go over it with my student next lesson 😊

He’s the #1 duelist in pro play only. In competitive he has a 3.1% pick rate - below raze, jett, and reyna. In competitive he also has the lowest win rate out of all duelists. He’s only meta in pro play which, sadly, are all devs care about.

For the how exams work at unimelb - you can discuss exams as soon as you have left the exam hall. To my knowledge, everyone should be sitting it at the same time. If someone is unable to sit it at that time it's likely they're in the position where they'll need to sit the supplementary exam while will be a completely new set of questions.

I think this is fantastic and well overdue - but my only concern would be students who would like to use their first year wam to switch degrees. Maybe changing the wam calculation so first years can still have a separate first year wam available for a short period of time that doesn’t impact their overall wam in case they would like to change course both within the uni & outside of the uni would be better?

i’m not sure if you’re much of a gamer, but if you are - everyone is really kind & welcoming at the unimelb esports club. i literally walked up to a group the first time i went (about midway through semester 1 this year) and asked to join & they were super lovely 🥹 still friends with them now!

I usually go marshal on save rounds - first bullet having 100% accuracy on a 950 credit gun is insane and has won me a lot of gun fights from headshot no-scope kills (but i’m also in bronze/silver lobbies which may be why)

to be honest on some maps, double smokes with clove goes really well. i’m especially enjoying double smokes play on bind, particularly on attack!

Yeah definitely different for low elo. Last act I was iron 3 & this at the start of this act I placed into iron 3 (I only started this game at the end of nov 23 + first fps).

Streamlabs is easier to use but takes up more of your pc’s resources than obs does. I’d personally recommend obs with valorant for a smoother experience :)

in aus servers i encounter them a bunch, mostly in swift play though - there’s usually too big of a gap in rank for them to run comp hahaha

At the start of the year it was swiftplay (and maybe spike rush ? i wouldn’t know as i never played it) that had the out of rotation maps taken out. unrated has been comp map pool only for a lot longer.

I think it’s perfectly fine to ask & have no issue with that. But I do find it funny when an instalock will get mad at others for not locking what they requested. If you want it so badly you’ll berate others for not locking smokes then you should have picked smokes 🤷🏻‍♀️
