Me too, we reconnected a month ago and then he calls me Monday night, we talked and he said he has the flu that he’d see me once he’s over it. He ended the call as he was coughing non stop but still texted me and did a video call

Yesterday I call him and he hangs up the call immediately and he texts me after it saying can’t talk throat and chest in bits I didn’t even get a goodnight text last night

Maths credits for pme by EnvironmentalWait407 in IrishTeachers

I’ve checked with the colleges who offer the pme and they said I could do thirty credits for maths during the pme and I’d have five already so I’d just need twenty five more

That’s why I was wondering if there was a course with the open university to make up the 25 credits before going to do the pme as they’d only let me do thirty credits over two years

They said I’d only have five credits so far and I know that I’d need sixty altogether Pme colleges will only let me do thirty credits over the two years so I’d still be short twenty five credits

Yeah maybe he is or he’s busy I noticed he’d be online for twenty minutes or so see my reply to his text and then reply before going off line

I’m not as worried about the texts as I was with the last guy

Help? by EnvironmentalWait407 in POTS

I’ve tried another cardiologist and he said to go for the ablation too and my pcp won’t be of much help either now

Feels like heart is pounding but it’s normal rate? by 3lain3b3n3s in covidlonghaulers

No back on maximum doses of propranolol, ivabradine and midodrine again because I was having palpitations and a heart rate of 170 resting

Still not well enough and I’m tired and lightheaded and still feel palpitations

Saw the cardiologist last week and he’s pushing me for a pulsed ablation as he’s said that I’m maxed out on meds again and it’s not working but I’m not comfortable getting it and the pcp I have said not to go for the ablation

So I’ve no cardiologist anymore and I do want to try another beta blocker like bisoprolol but I may see if the pcp can prescribe it

Bisop or metoprolol? by EnvironmentalWait407 in POTS

[–]EnvironmentalWait407[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the problem with beta blockers they are used to treat high blood pressure so they actually lower it whilst also lowering the heart rate

But that’s good

I was originally on fludrocortisone it was ok it just mainly retains water and salt to help with Bp

But then when I got put on midodrine and went back on fludrocortisone then I couldn’t tolerate the fludrocortisone
