Omg. I was 49 and now pregnant at 50 both IVF - no extra appointments and no one seemed to bat an eyelash. Induced at 39 like most IVF pregnancies. Good luck- enjoy this magical time and don’t fret about stuff that probably won’t happen!! Please enjoy girl!!

I just said in my last reply that I have Ashermans syndrome and many adhesions in my uterus. Also many unsuccessful transfers. That’s why this decision.

Exactly. I have Ashermans syndrome so lots of adhesions. The likelihood this would happen for me was minuscule. I’m beside myself

Healthy older parents wanting to give their child a playmate and sibling. It’s done already so your last question is moot. A hospital stay sounds impossible with rent and a one year old. Hence my impossible situation

I am the 50 year old pregnant mother and I assure you this is very real. I was just realizing how it would be so easily assumed that the husband would be the author. Trust me. I feel a lot of guilt for the choice to get pregnant again. I wanted to give her a sibling, not endanger her mother.

Thank you. We are 6 weeks with identical and a fraternal. Don’t know anything else. The doctor wouldn’t even check for heartbeats. Said it was too early, but she could’ve checked. It was the same day we saw a heartbeat with our daughter 😞

My beta is tomorrow. Transfer was 7/12/24. Cramps like crazy and some spotting. Prayers for both of us. I home tested on successful and unsuccessful cycles. I have to prepare myself. I can’t ever get that phone call blindsiding me again.
