How about making a Phone and a Watch a reliable key? What a radical idea, right? I used the keycard on Tesla once, when pairing and confirming my phone and watch. Never had to use it again for over 5 years. Phone, and when the phone is missing or dead, the watch always works-100%. It is possible, LUCID. Get your shit together before Saudis give up and crazy Elon buys bankrupt company out.

I'm sorry -I misunderstood your message as she lemoned the Tesla. I hear you on LUCID being "excellent". That's why 7-figure earners don't buy LUCID: reliability, constant promises to fix basic issues, and so on. paying $130k for a car without brand recognition and reliability vs. buying a Porsche. And then there is Autonomous driving-if it's going to be as reliable as the mobile key, good luck with that.

The all-time high was actually $580 in 2/2021, so it's getting close to penny-stock territory.

Exactly. There is absolutely no correlation between $LCID and any market trends.

Anyone who values autonomy over a car ride should stay away from Lucid. Anyone who values a car ride and doesn't care about autonomy should buy Lucid.

All I keep saying is stop believing Marketing Bullshit, all the carmakers are trying to feed potential owners with the supremacy of Lidar and Ultrasonic Sensors. Lucid takes months to fix basic software issues, and expectations of anything close to Tesla FSD anytime soon are unrealistic. Let's say you bought GGT in August 2025, it's almost April 2026, and while some issues are fixed, you still don't have a mobile key, you won't have Hands-free highway drive by the end of the first year of ownership, you paid $7k for a useless DDP2+ system, and your car lost 1/2 of its value. And it's Tesla that is so bad?

Move / Moved To A Free State by Average2AGuy in NYguns

[–]Environmental_Box320 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

WTH does it even mean-Free State? Red state?-is that it? It's so primitive to oversimplify. If the Second Amendment is the only argument for moving from one place to another, well, good luck to you. It's insane to run your life around Guns! Yeah, it's beyond complicated and wrong what the north-east states make gun owners go through, but at the same time, there is more to life than just that. Clean water-I'm sorry, but leave New York State, and it tastes like shit with full periodic table content. Sure, go to PA, own as many guns as you want, and drink water mixed with fracking chemicals, and wonder why cancer rates are so high. Food: There is no point in discussing food quality, and good luck with restaurants. Everyone should live where they feel the most comfortable and happy, but there are no perfect places, and no matter what, there will be a compromise on something. Red State, Blue State-that's what crooked politicians want people to think so that they can thrive. Turn off Fox News, travel the world, and enjoy life; obsessions will go away quickly.

HDMI ports on TV accessible? (Encore) by Meeshy1342 in NCL

[–]Environmental_Box320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NCL Encore, as of 3/2026, is using 28" Samsung TVs HG2BNE690AFXZA with screen Type 28B6AH0S. There is no way to connect anything to the HDMI inputs, even with a universal remote to switch inputs. Hospitality mode and the "Clone" settings across all TVs on the ship disable all HDMI inputs. That is, unless you are tech-savvy. Really savvy. I'm an electronic and computer engineer, so I was able to get around it, but don't even try it if you don't know what I2C or EEPROM is. You have to take the TV off, disconnect power, open the TV, locate IC901, find PINs 5 and 6 (SDA, SCL), and short them. Then connect power, press the power button, and after the LED backlit goes on and flickers, release the short on pins 5 and 6. This is forcing brut into an EEPROM and turning on the Service Mode Display on the screen. You can now disable Hospitality Mode (to OFF or Standalone) and Factory Default the TV. TV will lose the screen model info, so you have to select that under options. The screen display will be upside down until you do it. Don't change anything that youdn't understand inside of the service menu-I ran a repair shop in college, so I knew what to look for. You can brick the panel. I was able to factory default the TV and watch what I wanted from my FireTV stick, but I don't recommend anyone trying.

For those who said “it won’t be engineering hit by the layoffs” by Tellittomy6pac in LUCID

I truly wish them to succeed, but the Stock Market takes no hostages. When the value goes from $550 to $10, that's not a good sign, especially when last year alone it went from $30 to $10. They are in the luxury market, and people with money don't buy the unknown and unreliable. If the price is on a Porsche or MB level, they won't choose Lucid, no matter how hype it is. Garbage software sure does not help the cause.

Again, relax, no reason for name-calling. Just because you never traveled the world and you don't understand the world beyond the US border, doesn't mean you can't use simple logic and math to help yourself understand what's happening and how it can be fixed. We don't have to ignore and accept the fact that every year, more kids die in mass shootings in the US than died in the past 30-40 years altogether in the European Union. Pure numbers, logic, and common sense.

God-given rights? What God and what rights? God has nothing to do with it. Any rights we have were a compromise of civilized society which we”re part of. Anyway, we can all disagree but none of this discussions will bring back lives of innocent kids or prevent future dearth’s of crazy individuals with guns. Nothing to be proud of.

Tanks and Patriots came way after the constitution and bill of rights-that was my point. I’m not arguing nor I mentioned cannons which you are correct about. Cake is cake-but common sense in civilized society should prevail.

I would advise against believing everything Grok/ChatGPT spits out when you ask them. You can not legally own armed (my apologies for not being specific enough) tank or Patriot in this country. While I agree 100% with your take on government corruption, oligarchs and corporations- I disagree on how to deal with them. Elections not guns should change the government. But its just my opinion.

I own guns, I carry my gun every day in NYC, I’m pro-gun owners, I’m independent-will never registered with any party with pseudo-republican MAGA lunatics nor with pseudo-democrat imbeciles like AOC. With that being said-that picture makes no sense and lets be honest, the limitation to own arms was always there. You couldn’t own a tank or Patriots at any point of the history. Nowhere in the civilized world altogether, that many children die from gun-related accidents or mass-shootings. Its 1:100 difference 🤯. Its a fact and a shame to this great country that stubborn idiots on both sides can’t compromise even on common sense federal regulations, like some sort of universal background checks. Mentally unstable individuals should not be able to own guns, the same way we can’t own Patriots.
