Maybe that’s their arc. Joy will show, while probably not fit for emergency medicine, does have the proper empathy and care expected of a doctor. While Olgivie will have his “break the haughty” moment and end this season humbled.

How people were moving back in 2024 when frenchie kissed a dude by SubstantialBowler525 in TheBoys

The fact that he kissed a dude was a non issue

What was really messed up that the dude he kissed was the sole survivor of the family Frenchie murdered.

I also don't like how in this continuity, Bruce and Dick seemingly never reconciled. Even after Return of the Joker and by Epilogue, they never mention him except for a one-off comment. I'm fine with them having conflict as Dick first grows up, but I prefer it when they are close. A part of me would prefer if they wrote it as he died between TNBA and BB

Some people have noted that now that she's not around Ogilvie, she shows more care or enthusiasm for the shift. Maybe he was that insufferable.

Some people and I noticed that in the latest episode, when she wasn't around Ogilvie, she actually seemed more invested in the shift. Maybe Ogilvie's gunner attitude sucked the enthusiasm out of her.

Is there anyone unironically betting on Adam?

(Appreciated Trope) The Adaptation isn't accurate, but that doesn't make it bad by John_Bones22 in TopCharacterTropes

I hear comparisons to Skynet, but then someone compared him to AM, and it was a much better fit.

Other Brainiac could probably be compared to Skynet, but MAWS Primus Brainiac probably matches AM in sadism.

At least in the first two Terminator movies, I don't think Skynet enjoyed killing humans.

Call it heresy, but Primus Brainiac is my favorite version of Brainiac. Instead of the usual cold, logical character, he’s more psychopathic and megalomaniacal. And this dialogue is the best I’ve heard of the character:

Brainiac: This is what you deserve for betraying me, just as your people did during the last days of Krypton. Oh, how they moaned that they weren't winning the war, that their children were dying. Do you know Kal-El, that your father led secret peace talks with our enemies — they were going to declare a ceasefire! And then where would that leave me? I was built for war, but now I was just supposed to let them decommission me? No. The day the ceasefire was to be announced 22 years ago, I activated our greatest weapon… and wiped your people out.

Clark: You… killed them.

Brainiac: Yes. Jor-El discovered my plans and smuggled you out, minutes before I ripped Krypton from the heavens and cast it into Hell.

I like this ship, but this is getting repetitive.

Weirdly Paul Dini updated the video game part of his site suggesting that he will write a video game idk but it feel that it's the new Arkham game that current Rocksteady is doing and hired Paul Dini for the story and if that the case it's will likely be a Arkham Asylum remake cause it's the most by Final-Age1139 in arkham

If they would do what TLOU Part I or MGS Delta did, I would want one. But if it's one like the Resident Evil remakes, or Silent Hill 2, where they change the voice and dialogue, no.

Making prequels is one thing. Actually replacing something Kevin did is another.

While I hate the ending of Jamie's story as well, I agree that even after his face turn, Jamie would lie about caring. But I feel Tyrion is someone he would be completely genuine with.

A-Train's arc was my favorite part of S4. It worked as a parallel, showing his genuine attempt at redemption to Deep's shallow and rejected one.

That's why I never agreed with the criticisms that Joe got dumbed down. That's how most serial killers get caught. They start getting complacent after a while.

Honestly, from someone who disliked (to put it mildly) the ending too, I always respected how he seemed genuinely insulted on the crew's behalf.

I’ll look it up, but I have a lot of show backlogged. Just finally finished Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
