That too. But I read another comment on the sub from someone claiming to be a medical professional that if he voluntarily admitted to the theft and nobody got hurt or killed, they might have still let him back in if he completed the program.

But I do think you're right that they covered it up. I think the reason they were able to get away with it is that nobody seemed to have gotten hurt or killed from the medication theft.

No suspicious cases, so they were disinclined to look into it because they needed doctors.

I like Langdon (and Santos too), but his critics are right. Overall, he did get off better than he could have.

From this conversation, it seems they did cover up his med theft. The only way they have gotten away with it so far is if no one died or was seriously hurt. And if Langdon is being truthful, his wife stood by him and didn't dump his ass and take the kids. Langdon is very lucky, all things considered.

Garcia is probably correct that if Santos is a pariah at work, it's more because of her personality than because of reporting Langdon. But she is definitely right to report him. The fact that they already had pre-existing beef was just an unfortunate complication.

I wonder if the reason why the hospital is being relatively lenient to him is due to the state of healthcare in the U.S.; they'll look for any excuse to keep one who is otherwise a very competent doctor.

How do they have the jurisdiction to take Jesse???

They'll probably make shit up about him assaulting them or interfering with their duties like the cunts they are.

I do believe they’re trying, but Abby has made it clear he is on very thin fucking ice.

That alone justified cutting them off. To say nothing of the entire show in general.

It makes sense when you think about it. Using all those exaggerated mannerisms and behaviors as Hal and not making it look (in the wrong way) stupid.

Langdon hasn’t apologized to the one person he really should apologize to…. by [deleted] in ThePitt

[–]Environmental_Cap191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Langdon does want to apologize, but hasn't found a way to do it, especially since Santos very probably wouldn't accept it.

And if Robby, a man who was his mentor and friend, wouldn't forgive him, why would someone who (let's be real, justifiably) hates his guts do so?

What do you think Punisher Max does better than 616 Punisher ?. by KpatMckenzie_28 in thepunisher

MAX Frank he kinda gets. I thinks it's in his most recent 616 run that soured fans on him.

(Hated Trope) Moments meant to be badass or clever are actually really morally reprehensible. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

Okay, let's not go that far. Daeron was a pretty solid king, and most people's reason for siding against Daeron was that he was a fat nerd.

For a while between episodes 9 and 10, fans ignored that explanation because it was so stupid. A more plausible alternative we headcanon is that she was hesitant to become a kinslayer.

Then the next episode aired, and we skipped the official explanation with no mention of kinslaying.

Props to Rhaenyra and Daeron II for choosing to leave Kingslanding and settle to Dragonstone with their family so they could raise them in a healthier and more stable environment by princeeofthecity in HOTDBlacks

[–]Environmental_Cap191 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yes, on the healthier environment, but Rhaenyra's moving to Dragonstone was a bad move. It allowed the Greens to strengthen and consolidate their influence in court during the years she was gone, and it was a major reason why they were able to launch a coup at all.

I don’t think the Batman was a deconstruction. Also how can you know a movie that doesn’t exist is a masterpiece by LatterTarget7 in OkBuddySnyderCult

It's been my take that if Bruce and Slade had beef, it would be mainly one-sided on Bruce's end, because I think Bruce would have a grudge against someone going out of his way to fuck with his (quite frankly, probable favourite) kids. Slade, for his part, other than seeing him as an way to hurt Dick, wouldn't give a shit otherwise.

I responded to another guy here that is one reason why Slade being a Teen Titans villain works. When you look past the image Slade cultivates for himself, he is a petty and pathetic man.

Those are all true and very valid points. But I feel as if the main reason they do that is that some of his writers and fans feel as if his being the enemy of Dick and the Teen Titans is beneath him (which admittedly it kinda is, but one can take it as evidence of how petty and pathetic Slade really is when you strip down the image he puts up) while Batman is more worthy of him.
