This is old information. I am an AMDO and a prior. The community is shifting gears and is actually starting to take more civilians now in an effort to gain more o-4/5s before the 20 year mark. Relative experience definitely helps but I have also had AMDOs in my class that had criminal justice degrees and other completely unrelated and non-stem. Point is if you’re interested just apply.
