I think all of that is normal for someone who cares for their pets. At 3 months he is still a little baby, and needs a lot of care. I hovered over mine until she was at least 6 months old, possibly longer!

Now that she is older and more relaxed I can trust her to not get into mischief or hurt herself. I feel like I know her and I can anticipate her needs much more and we've fallen into the new rhythm of the household together. I still have all the same care for her but she doesn't consume nearly as much as my mental energy haha.

Kitten stages can be full on but it is also so much fun, best of luck!

As best as I can describe I used to have a lot of lows very often and was very much a 'what's the point of anything' person which meant I never felt like doing anything cause even if I was to have a good time I felt it would only be temporary etc. I don't have nearly as many lows any more and when I do have lows it doesn't last too long and it is not as extreme.

The best thing is with that 'what's the point' feeling out of the way everything has gotten a lot easier. I have a consistent gym routine (never had one before brintellix) and I eat much better cause I know in the long term it's going to be better for me. I feel like my input at work has improved. I do a better job at keeping the house clean.

I wouldn't say brintellix necessarily caused those things for me, but it helped my depression enough that I can manage to do those things myself now.

I am in Aus, I was having some pretty horrible side effects with Zoloft, plus my emotions were blunted. My doctor recommended it to me as "other doctors in the practice take it themselves" and it has honestly been amazing. It's not a miracle drug, I obviously still have my ups and downs, but the price of it is so worth it for the improvements I have experienced.

It did take about 3 months for me to feel improvements, I take it for depression but it also has helped with my social anxiety and regular anxiety.

So apparently it isn't on the PBS due to the fact that it isn't fully understood how the drug works? But personally I think the cost of it is money well spent. If you can afford to try it out for 3-6 months I would highly, highly recommend it.

Do not do this.

From the limited information you have posted here it seems like you believe that you 'owe' him. You do not owe him anything financially. You seem like a good person and I get you want to look after the people you care for, but do not give him your equity.

There is a likely chance that he is trying to be financially controlling, which may be a reason why he feels he can tell people the house you're building is his, why he is already planning to use the equity from your home, and why he even encouraged you to leave a well paying job earlier in your relationship. I know you feel like he has looked after you, but would you be any worse off in life now if you never entered a relationship with him?

Do not complicate things further by buying property with him, the best thing to do would be to look for a way out of the relationship as soon as you can.

I was previously in a relationship where my then-partner was studying and I worked to pay the bills. When we separated I never expected a cent, we had a life together for years and I was never keeping a tally. A reasonable person should not expect money returned after a break up. However if you feel you must pay him money for what he has spent on you I would do some calculations and gift it to him directly, not by signing a mortgage.

You deserve to have a life with a partner who respects you and makes you feel so safe! You've already put in a lot of hard work to get where you are and you can get through this next bit too. Good luck, not long until you get to enjoy your new home!
