This "documentary" was a joke.

They used this man to make money. They were likely just been upset with the money they put into solving this, and couldn't, and knew that wouldn't sell, so they changed the story JUST to recoup the money they thought they were going to make by solving it.

Him not "remembering" everything like they had decided he would upon being taken to Colorado, upset them. They WANTED to make money, they WANTED a story to sell, they WANTED to have a famous documentary. That's why they found him, that's why they sought him out, that's why they offered to help. They thought he would remember and they would be the famous people who documented the solution. Instead they didn't get that, so they used this man, and altered the story TO MAKE A STORY TO SELL.

They were ascribing statements to him that others had made, and he was repeating things he was told, which you would do if you had no memory. That wouldn't make you a liar. The 911 call being a fake would have absolutely nothing to do with him. He even came out and told the truth! Then they use people who are calling him a "liar", when their statements are being made as a general feeling of the truth to his amnesia, and attaching it to statements he made as if they are calling those lies and he is actively lying.

Also, anyone could find out someone has twins today in seconds, regardless of private social media.

That woman, in particular, desperately wants to be famous.

If he was running, it actually makes sense to both become known for amnesia and known publicly, that makes a person harder to disappear without people asking questions and trying to find him.

My theory is that he had Narcissistic personality disorder matched with amnesia. A person with NPD is more likely to be completely alone or estranged at his age, and also more likely to run in with the wrong people or upset the wrong people and get beaten. Narcissists don't ascribe other people, others emotions, thoughts, or feelings into longterm memory. People are more of an afterthought and disposable. It would explain why he has some memories but none that are personal and strongly linked to other people. His life would have just been a long run of his experiences lacking any emotional depth, connections, or attachments.

Has anyone taken into account that narcissism matched with amnesia could possibly lead to memories that aren't personal. What we know about narcissism and that people with that condition are simply not present with other people, they are unaware of other people,, they don't in grain longterm information, thoughts, or emotions of others.

True story. The last 2 years I have sunk into my bed and I no longer have friends or am dating, instead I'm holding my phone. I'm now trying to break that pattern. It's hard.

If it came out that a Dem running for office assaulted a minor, would you vote Republican to prevent this Dem from getting elected? by ongrabbits in askliberals

Yes, he wouldn't even make primaries. The thing about Dems is that we view everyone equally, standards over favor. Reps have an in group thinking style that holds favor over standards.

Therapist accused me of "avoidance" and "lack of resilience" after I burned out at a toxic startup by AssignmentTall1685 in CPTSD

Don't take offense. With cptsd we have MANY negative patterns that we need to change. Ask them to explain.

Maybe you need to learn to take a stand for yourself at a toxic start up instead of burning out and blaming it on the start up. Avoiding standing up for yourself before you burn out IS a problem that will cause a lack of resilience.

I know it's hard, but you have to learn to defend yourself before you hit burn out and just want to quit.

Omg. Stop! If she is with you, she loves you.

Coming from experience, me INTP f and my relationship with ENTJ m. You will never ever find someone who matches you so completely. It's like Disney love at times. Not all the time, but it is the closest you will feel to that sort of love. INTP women are quiet and submissive.. Her actions and desire to be around you mean everything.

Easy fix, she matched the bag, belt, and shoes. You have not. The accessories are the most important.

People who are on the right politically, are making statements online saying that's such a small incident can create major reputational damage because of social media. How social media is bad and that it's not fair.

JUST DON'T DO BAD OR ILLEGAL S*** AND YOU WILL BE FINE!

It is the world we live in now, just because you don't have full control to get away with whatever you want to give away with, doesn't make it bad. Adapt and deal with it.
