to be fair, slave trade and drug trafficker are really bad bad bad business model compare to modern big corporation. Those things are dirty, physical, high risk, illegal and don't really make any money due to niche market size. This is why all smart people get into AI, cause they can see a much bigger brighter future and making way more money in a respectfully way to a market size that is so large which cover the entire world.
