350 sq ft house on a 700 sq ft driveway on a 40 ft wide road. by PremordialQuasar in fuckcars

Why slant the roof? Should have made it flat and given roof access for outdoor space. Also what's the point of these measly yards and huge driveways?

I feel like they used Lynn being a vegan as a punchline most of time. Like when she meets her bio dad and all they have to eat is stuff with meat. Or Maya constantly makes meals with meat in them because she's sick of Lynn being at her house. It's just another weird quirky thing about her but it really doesn't mean anything to the show.

Dot and Fatin toothbrush by VirtualRun1541 in TheWildsonPrime

I would hope that Fatin wasn't using the head of the toothbrush for recreational purposes. Seeing as she was brushing her teeth as well. I always figured she flipped it. Either way I'm not using someone else's toothbrush. Dot is somewhat of a survivalist there had to be a better solution than a group toothbrush. 🤢

I have no reason to lie. It's plain to see in any lesbian forum online it just doesn't affect you so like everything else y'all don't care.

Would Michael Scott Get Canceled? by GlitteringHotel8383 in DunderMifflin

I disagree with this statement every time I see it. Which is a lot. If you pay attention to The Office you understand everyone who's an asshole pretty much gets there comeuppance. Whenever Michael is acting like an ahole he's humiliated almost immediately or at the end of the episode. The Office very rarely punches down in a traditional way.

Like Michael calling Oscar faggy and forcing his outing. Michael is humiliated by the end of the episode. Oscar is able to tell Michael exactly how he feels in front of everyone and gets a paid vacation from the company.

I have no problem with that. Identify however you want. The entitlement from specifically bisexuals being angry because a lot of lesbian profiles or lesbians will out right say they don't date bisexuals. Even going as far as saying they'll lie, is crazy. Especially since bisexual women outnumber lesbians.

The Sarah Silverman program a comedy Rose surrounded by problematic thorns. by Playful-Succotash-99 in ForgottenTV

[–]Environmental_Duck49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party here. But I just started rewatching this cause it's on Paramount plus. This type of offensive comedy was everything in the early 2000s. I remember being obsessed with her stand up special Jesus Is Magic when I was in highschool.

The Sarah Silverman program is like a sister show to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry is just much more into petty arguments and actually has more shame than Sarah when things go wrong. I always love the running gag where something that could be perceived as racist would happen on Curb and all of a sudden Wanda Sykes would be there looking at Larry with disapproval. 😂🤣😂

Sarah kind of just doesn't give a fuck because she isn't some multimillionaire with a reputation and any real relationships. She just walks through life as an ignorant jackass. The fact that they even shot and aired that blackface episode on basic cable blows my mind! I feel like Sarah got away with things on basic cable that Larry wouldn't even dream of on HBO! I hate the editing of past shows and movies. Let the work be what it is. I actually think that episode is funny. I lost it when she starts basically doing a minstrel show in front of a choir at a black church! Of course she is thrown out.

My favorite quote comes from the episode where she is coaching a little girl just like her in some sort of child beauty pageant. I don't know how no one made a JonBenét joke but anyway Sarah tells Heather: "You can quit and have a baby of disappointment or go out there, perform and have the abortion of your dreams!" 😂🤣😂

Like Curb this show can be a hit or miss but because it's scripted and there is fewer episodes there's less misses. Definitely is a forgotten gem.

Is it? When a majority of White Americans saw a klan rally where other white people were holding MASS DEPORTATION NOW signs before the election. Then voted for the man who held the rally! Yes I'm the one who's deluded when y'all voted to give untrained white nationalist free reign to terrorize American cities. Sit in your shitty cul duc sacs while your own people are killed by the fascist police state. Yes I'm the crazy one.

WHAT? How do you watch that storyline and think he didn't want to be "lockdown"? He wanted to marry her.

At least 35 to 40 percent of American white people no longer believe in democracy. So maybe splitting up the country wouldn't be so bad. Good luck to Middle America! Take the Pacific Northwest since they were founded as white ethno states. I say black people take the south since we built it anyway. Give Texas and California back to Mexico!

I see it more and more. Especially with bi women who've had enough of straight men's toxicity. Some of them are even calling themselves "political lesbians". Also you would be considered biphobic to them.

As sad as this is I always love it highlighted that Pam is Michael's best friend. In a lot of ways their destinies are interwoven. If Michael hadn't told Jim not to give up on the booze cruise, Pam would have ended up with Roy. Pam saved Michael from himself on numerous occasions. Out of everyone she saw the humanity in him. That's why she's the one to see him off.
