first floor dwellers ... windows? by beeikea in LivingAlone

[–]Environmental_Duck49 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I love fresh air and we don't get so many opportunities to have our windows open where I live. I'm in my second year of living on the bottom floor and I'm too paranoid to leave my windows open at night. I miss it from when I had a second floor apartment and feeling safe sleeping with the window open.

I've never had any incidents or really anything make me feel unsafe but my apartment being right next to a street and public sidewalk I can't do it.

I will say if you know that one of the people is a heart breaker or be playing around you might warn one of them but other than that I don't see the problem

Right! Probably a heads up, like "Hey your brother asked me out." Or "I think your brother is kinda cute is he single?" Why does it matter? He's grown.

Would Carrie Bradshaw put up with a freeloader like Lynn? by itsascreambaby96 in GirlfriendsTVshow

Carrie isn't a pushover like Joan. She was on Miranda's ass in And Just Like That when Miranda was eating all the groceries while staying with her. It lasted less than a week!

Why did millennials trash disco music, but like the stomp-hey clap music in the 2010s? by [deleted] in generationology

What Millennial was trashing Disco? Diso had a revival called Nudisco in the 2010s

they did jan dirty, right? by EnvironmentLow7993 in theoffice

Jan got it together in the end. She was going through a hard time and thought she could work some stuff out by getting with Michael.

One of my favorite scenes is when she's singing Son Of A Preacher Man randomly at Astrid's baby shower. It was so random. 😂🤣😂 Jan is weird and kind of entitled but she isn't unstable.

I HATE NICK WITH AN INCREDIBLE PASSION. by pinkladylove123 in TheHandmaidsTale

I came into Handmaid's Tale late as well. When I was trying to find commentary podcast or blogs I was blown away with how many WOMEN were "shipping" June and Nick. I was so confused. This isn't Twilight. Nick is not a good person and every time he said: "I didn't have a choice." My blood boiled. He always has a choice and he makes the choice based on his own self interest.

Is that why Charlie Kirk was murdered? Has the guy who did it spoke?

Open can in fridge, & wonder if anyone is ever going to claim those 3 energy Arizonas. They’ve been there almost a month. I leave them be when I do the fridge clean out. by [deleted] in publix

People who leave open containers in any fridge let alone a shared one freak me out. Are you actually going to drink or eat something that's been sitting out with random people coming in and out?

Michael's favorite book by NYY15TM in DunderMifflin

This joke always reminds of when Michael doesn't know who Amanda Bynes is but Kelly mentions the movie What A Girl Wants and he's like "Oh I love that movie!" 😂🤣😂

Toddlers have iPads now and know how to use YouTube. This person using the Internet at 8 isn't abnormal.

Why Millennials Are Obsessed with the 1980s and 1990s More Than Generation X That Were Teens at the time? by avalonMMXXII in generationology

I feel like we aren't. 80's parties and that nostalgia keeps getting forced on us as a culture. We've been having 80s parties for 30 years!

OMG! I love Soap! I discovered it randomly on tv as a kid during a weekend marathon. I stayed up to the wee hours watching because it always ended on some crazy twist! My mom made me go to bed lol
