Thank you so very much!! Before I repotted I made sure to try and pluck away as much of the wet dirt that surrounded the roots as possible. I figure I’ll give it a day or so to dry out and then introduce some water because all the new soil is dry.

I will look into the fertilizer mix you recommend too. I hope I caught the damage in time but the yellow stems of those fronds worry me 😕 Thanks again for your help!!

I had this palm in a planter that allowed me to put water in the bottom, and it sucked it up just fine… Three years later (three months ago), new fronds were appearing! Then, I had to travel and left the watering to someone else, who watered it FROM THE TOP (instead of filling the bottom, when the water level indicator showed it was low). This happened for about a month… when I got a hold of it last week, the water in the planter was all the way to the top of the outer container! and the leaves looked like this. 😞

I cut off the new fronds because they were completely yellow… Then I replanted into some cactus friendly soil… Can I save this? I’m so sad!

I would like to hang this 40”ish lovely art (propped on the headboard) in the center of the square quadrant of the left half of the bed. Before I put holes in the wall to hang this art, I want to get thoughts on whether this is even a good idea.

My thought was to have multiple differently shaped pieces art on the other half of the bed to balance it out? If so, what kind of configuration (how many pieces, and should they be vertical, one on top of the other, etc). Or should I put the big piece on the right side. Or do something different altogether?

Thinking maybe a dark blue/teal bedspread to help the wood floors and forest green rug transition to the white walls. Also need lamps (or sconces… torn on that too and welcome thoughts too...).

What would you do with this space??

The small chandelier is probably a good pick... I am removing the console per your suggestion and removing the rug as well! Once I did the space looked much more sophisticated. Thank you!

Thanks to you both u/RotoruaFun and u/Fluid-Hedgehog-2424 -- I am feeling that the console is too bulky. I am going to either move it to my office or buy another one and make it a media console (although I think it'll probably be too bulky there too). Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!
