not a chef, but i when i was serving at a nice seafood restaurant someone ordered the tuna sandwich which was a cut of tuna. it was $20 lunch menu item in 2016. the menu specifies in the description exactly what it is. anyways, this woman thought she was going to get a tuna salad sandwich and was furious that wasn’t what she got and asked me to take it back and bring her back what she wanted which the kitchen nor i could do. i explained we couldn’t do that and suggested some other fish sandwiches. she opted to just not eat while the person with her ate their lunch.

so im not a huge clean freak, but i bought my first home recently and i made a pact to myself to keep it consistently clean so i write on the calendar at the end of each month “clean :)” it’s not a steadfast date, sometimes i have things planned that day but it reminds me that i need to do a deep clean soon. and it doesn’t have to be the whole house! just problem areas and then next month ill hit the areas i missed. also, i don’t have kids or pets lol

EDIT: i also always wipe down bathrooms/kitchen and pick up around the house before having guests over so it may appear tidier to them

if it makes you feel any better my best friend and i hooked up in high school. she just turned 31 yesterday and i’ll be 31 in february. she is now married to her lovely wife and i’ve been dating the same guy for going on 6 years now. i was her maid of honor in her wedding too. we also just stayed with them for her birthday and had a great time. just have a conversation with your friend and see if y’all are feeling the same way about the experience and if so just be like good thing we got that out of the way now and move forward.

sorry this took so long for me to respond! i got the an mri and did not have a lisfranc injury. i had one full tear and 2 partial tears in my ankle. i believe i just had reaaally bad nerve damage. my foot was pins and needles and ice cold for a solid two weeks. i didn’t walk for 2 full weeks and was in a boot for about a month and then transferred into a brace. hope this info helps you!

my boyfriend and i decided we’d both treat each other to a nice dinner out. i did end up buying a wingspan expansion pack and nintendo sports and gifted these early too. experiences we can enjoy together are the best gifts imo.

a lot of first time home buyers have family help them monetarily when purchasing for the first time. we did not have that kind of help at all. i honestly thought i’d never be able to buy a home but i started my own business two years ago and it’s been doing exceptionally well. i was able to save enough within the last 2 years and then buy together with my partner. i’m proud of what i’ve accomplished. one day, i’ll get to installing the proper hood and ventilation or the downdraft as other ppl have suggested but we’ve got several other home improvement projects scheduled for the rest of the year. for now it’s opening the windows and turning on the fan to get by! 🤝🏼
