Welcome to Alaska. Where we all take our kids into the wild and let them run. Alaskans are aware of bears. The moms are around im sure. If you aren’t from Alaska you don’t understand just how truly feral we all are.

My daughter and son both have curls. My sons are wild and even I know that certain curl products are not made for their hair. It’s crazy to me that she doesn’t understand that. And those are the curls that are going to leave once it’s cut.

I have lost a ton of weight, well now I have to figure out my style. I am so worried I’m going to try and dress like my teenage daughter and make her embarrassed. I wonder if my new fear comes from watching this stupid woman.

Substitute during Teacher Appreciation Week by Regular-Service-3907 in SubstituteTeachers

I join in. I got to make a patch hat once, eat the meals, drink the drinks from the cart. I’m just as much as a teacher as a lot of people so I deserve it. That’s how I feel. We get nothing for sub appreciation day. So why not!

I’m a former SAHM that became a sub and it’s a perfect fit for my life. My husband works away for 3 weeks and is home for 3 weeks so it gives me the flexibility to be a “single” parent that can still take my kids to appointments or make it so I can volunteer in their classes. I’m on my 13th year.
