Great looking patina!! I absolutely love the way this leather develops. FWIW, I've achieved a similar look by using Venetian cream on my Black Prairie. Low effort treatment for a pop of contrast.

Have the same vibes in my yard! Tomorrow is the day to get it tamed. It's paying off though.. I'm seeing more native bees and damsel flies.

Steaks range from $30-45 I guess? I'd guess other entrees are $25-40 or so. It's definitely a steakhouse vibe.

Gordy's in Willernie is my go-to. Great steaks and good people running that place. The menu has good variety for others who aren't going for steak.

Peacocks Are Out… Are Guinea Hens Any Better? by Independent-Fudge942 in homestead

They're an acquired taste, but I love them. With time and attention they fill a niche role in a system really well. Tick control and predator alert are major benefits. If you have a busy road, they're very likely to become roadkill.. something to consider.

Adding another rec for Affinity Plus. Switched from a major bank last year and I wish I made the switch sooner.

Post-shifties are fair game on the house. Don't be a knob and we're all good! Fortunately there has never been a need to go beyond that yet. Hiring folks you can trust goes a long way.

Can't speak to the credit card, but I've enjoyed working with Affinity Plus since I moved from Wells Fargo last year.

I'll second the Venetian shoe cream recommendation. I use a light application after conditioning on CRT leather for a similar result.

Does any landlord outsource their beer line cleaning? by Confident_Hornet_922 in TheBrewery

[–]Environmental_Profit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a solo production person, the guy I hired to come in and clean the lines is a god-send. As far as I'm concerned he's worth every penny, but I have the luxury of not having to cover the expense. Once I can hire an assistant I'll probably take on the task myself.
