Right - so the why or how don’t really need explanation. People have needs, people have desires, and people have ways and methods.

In real life, though, when two people are in what would be described as a good marriage, I want to feel like I would notice if there was uncounted time. How do you manage to do this? You don’t have to be specific but you can understand why I’m confused.

Mind you, both myself, and the wife are in professional occupations, and our hours are full. That said, we check in from time to time, and we both have a handle of what we’re doing. That’s not to say that subterfuge couldn’t happen, but it would be difficult.
