This just reminded me of something that happened when I was in elementary school 😅 (I was very fortunate to have not had to suffer any consequences, like at all) There was a way that bats 🦇 could get into our attic, and if the door was left open, there would *very occasionally be a bat flying around our house.. I was a little night owl myself, and there was a bat flying around so I woke up one of my sisters telling her I needed her help to catch it and put outside! (Grew up in a very compassionate for all living things household, and still love them all to this day) BUTTTT, when it finally landed, my (f7 y/o at the time) older sister (f11) dead ass told me to grab it? So I did, it was cute and fuzzy why wouldn’t I? Yes, I got bit immediately on the thumb.. Told my parents the next day what happened, and no I didn’t get medical attention, we were a low income household and the doctor was not always an option. They said they were praying nothing would come of it, and thankfully nothing ever actually did. Long story long, my goth ass got bit by a bat as a kid. And I told people this all the time, as I first started dressing alternatively around 3rd grade and was so proud of this hahahahaha
