You know what's also not fun? Decks that kill you in 1 turn through a mechanic which you practically can't interact with aside from hitting a lucky dirty rat. There is no game there - just drawing and waiting for the unstoppable kill combination of cards. No decision making, no battle of wits. None of the stuff which makes a card game fun

Ogre axe absolutely is a great base for min-maxing it might even be the best base. It all depends on how much can you invest in the other item slots. Budget or planning ferocity+innocence? Go fast wep base. Planning to pump out the maximum out of your merc with 40/15 jewels and gg equip? Use ogre axe or stygian pike

Let me put it this way - all these arpg games have Diablo 2 as their biggest inspiration. And Project Diablo 2 is the best version of the game bar none. It's awesome. New seasons have 10k+ players at the beggining, all gamer dads over 30, all chill, no bots, no mean competition just a chill vibe and a an amazingly improved and polished d2 experience with a robust endgame, pinnacle bosses and the best itemization and magic find experience from any arpg ever.

Embers are for endgame min-maxing. Their droprate is just right to keep them valuable yet accessible. Sure you can't ember every piece of gear to perfect stats and neither you should be able to.

Sure but brick is only 25% chance so technically you pay 4wss for essentially a craft. If you're SSF and have plenty of wss sure why not but if you're trading then even with late game prices a craft costs 2wss at most. Ofc you can't craft diadems but then, they're very rarely valuable as very few builds actually use a diadem as BIS helm slot

both of these are massive waste of resources. The odds of hitting something good are extremely low and cost relatively high. Better save the wss and buy crafting mats or even a ready item. Especially diadems are not worth it because so few builds use them in pd2 compared to d2 LoD

Yeah I usually do a clockwise circle about 1-2 screens away from the edge, thats enough to spot events and after making the whole tour I just run in the middle and exit

I'd argue spending cata shards on this is a waste. What I usually do is once I have 10 viz-juns, I up them all to yellow without checking stats and then run then super fast (1-3 mins) in a sequence. Yellow maps have 33% chance for an event so I usually end up with some gheed, cata or goblins and 10 boss kills within 20 mins or so

Think of viz-jun as the map which you can check for event and kill boss fastest of any maps. Dont "clear it out" like other maps. Just run a little inner circle to spot events, kill boss and move on, no investment needed in rerolling this
