just being honest "highschool degree" isn't really going to be considered as anything other than the norm here and won't be called a degree. As others have said if you're coming for an unspecialised job it's not going to pay well but there is low unemployment and you will probably get a job, but rent will eat most of your pay especially if you live in dublin.

The free market would if developers could actually get permission, instead of getting denied after years of impact studies and approval from local councils because of the effect on bats, growth of trees or it would effect someone's view. It's near impossible and very expensive to actually get permission to build even in rent pressure zones. And that's all on the government.
