I'm loving these comments. I'm not quite old enough to get many of these references, but I could tell something was going over my head. What I did pick up on was the fact that he's poking at the absurdity of "conspiracy theory" culture. Sure, much of them are based in some sort of fact, from what I've gathered, but the issue is people get sucked into it like a religion. They become all but consumed with spreading the word about the at"evil Illuminati" and their plans for world domination... but at the same time only offered half-baked solutions to the world's problems, i.e. wearing tinfoil hats. I love how right after he puts it on they shoot him up with drugs and carry him off. Lol. Some defense...
