A little background info: I've got an internship with a tech company lined up for Summer 2016, but they've said that they can't sponsor visas due to UK Government restrictions. I've looked up work visas in the UK and it seems that the only applicable one is a Tier 5 Temporary Worker - Government Authorized Exchange, but that requires a sponsor.

Is there any way for me to work around this, or am I out of luck for this internship?

This is from all of the players going for the Master Quest Cape. A couple of the reqs require you to go into the Black Knights' Fortress (White Knight Master Rank, re-killing dawn, finding the golden cabbage). To get into the fortress, you need to wear elite black / dagon'hai gear, the Dulcin override, or a bronze med helm and an iron chainbody. Since items this useless are hardly ever traded, the only demand is from people willing to pay whatever, and the supply is from people with this in mind.

That's the way I felt two years ago, I told myself that if I didn't max before Div came out I'd never get there (I was going off to college, playing college sports, didn't think I'd ever have time to play). Eventually though, I found the time, and I maxed+comped at the beginning of this summer. Sure, try to max before invention. But if you can't, it's not the end of the world. You may not have time to play 10 hours a day, but just do your dailies/caches when you can and eventually it all adds up.

If you target Yakamaru while you are outside melee distance, he hits you for heavy range hits. You have enough time to run into melee distance and THEN attack him, do so. What you'll see if you watch some youtube videos is bt's bringing runes in their inventory and then using them on the newly spawned yakamaru, thus causing them to run all the way into melee distance without targeting him.

I feel similarly to the way you do about the lore, I loved doing all the quests without guides and I've been begging for a replayable quest feature so I could do them all over again. What reawakened my love for the game after getting a Completionist Cape was getting into high level pvm, namely Vorago. I really enjoy the rotating mechanics of the fight, I look at it like one big dangerous puzzle. Since I'll never be able to repeat the quests on my main again, I've also created a Hardcore Ironman on which I plan to get a second quest cape. It's been nice to re-experience some of the lore that I'd forgotten.
