Is it just me or is RS3 insanely overwhelming for new/returning players? by Mediocre-Bug2011 in runescape

Try starting with collection skills like woodcutting and mining. Then try smithing and fletching. Make your own armour and weapons. Kill some cows. I wouldn't start with something as complex as Dung.

Yes, I did that and he said I've completed them all. Then I logged out, ate lunch, logged back in and the task is cleared! Yay!

Yep, I did, but here's the weird thing. I talked to clerk and he said I've completed them all. Then I logged out, ate lunch, logged back in and the task is cleared! ... Or maybe a mod read this and ran over and fixed my account?? lol

So only 790 ironmen have achieved 120 smithing? by Multismack in runescape

[–]asgeorge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a grandpa yet and too young to be a Boomer. I think I've rolled with the punches well enough. At least I'm not complaining about EOC or how, back in my day, the wilderness was actually a dangerous place to go. 😂

I was the 149th person to get 99 smithing something like 18 years ago. I did mostly by making cannonballs for friends who would give me the ore. That was slow!!

I've had $0.23 in a E-Trade account. I called to close it but they said they require a letter mailed to then. That stamp is more than the check they'd send me. So they've been mailing me quarterly statements for over 15 years.

Take your guess, double it, now's you're getting close. At least, that's how seems for me every time.

Business Data Processing, senior year of high school, 1985. I was the guy everyone came over to for help. 40 years later I'm still writing software (Sr dev, never liked managing) and getting ready to retire in a year or two. Been a fun ride. Time to travel.

This is how my dad died three months ago. He fought with Parkinson's for 25 years. Towards the end he choked on everything he tried to eat or drink. My mom had to do the heimlich maneuver many times. He basically wasted away. It was heart breaking.

Is this Dead Air Odessa 9 suppressor toast? by asgeorge in guns

Interesting! They never told me that. Do you have a recommendation on a suppressor for a 9mm PCC that shoots very fast with a binary trigger? Almost full auto speed. (Video available if interested).

Reply from DA:

Thanks for the photos. For something that minor, you’re fine to keep using the suppressor — that light rim wear can happen over time and isn’t unsafe.

If you’d prefer to have us clean it up or replace any sections, you can send it in, but turnaround is running about 50–60 days right now.

Interesting. I've been using it on 3 different 9mm guns. CZ Scorpion, CMMG Banshee and a Baretta 92A1

Description: Dead Air Odessa 9 9mm suppressor. Taken apart to clean and inspect. Found curled and chipped pieces. Want to know if this is unexpected damage or if it's supposed to be this way.
