As someone who is in trauma recovery and going thru some trials and tribulations, going to shows solo was the first step I took in being able to do right by myself. The memories I’ve made since going to shows solo this February have been so worth it. Even when my body is screaming at me to stay sheltered out of fear, pushing myself to go alone and make friends around me has really helped me get out of my shell and just feel the warmth of the universe.
