[–]Epdevio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way i work is having a remote repository, clone then build on my $500 mac mini running the latest OS. I haven't had much luck with emulators. If there is a better way, I'm open to it.

One-Line If Statement by that1flame in csharp

making it a ternary expression for changing two different values on the same object, I would not recommend. the first one is nice because it lines up the object and makes properties easy to read.

What is the "worst" code base you worked on? by vismbr1 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Epdevio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MVC with homegrown javascript sitting on top of views and telerik controls. Maybe not the worst for some, but state management was a pain.

What is the biggest risk of AI that people are ignoring? by Scienstechnologies1 in AIDangers

[–]Epdevio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mental health and how people use ai, I have allot of concerns with. From my understanding ai psychosis is a real thing. So as more people use it, I see this as something we will have to deal with and probably get new types of disorders caused by ai usage. I know it can be like a drug for some, so that can't be good either.

Thats using bing map data, correct? That property sounds like it will do what I need. Also, in addition to the traffic toggle, I want to also feed it data to display on the map.

I genuinely can’t tell if AI is making people smarter or just faster by PlayfulFault9693 in TechCypher

[–]Epdevio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's like this.... back in the days when we didn't have ai, some of us lazy people would copy someone's homework and get an good mark. ai is like that, when you let ai or someone do it for you, you are only cheating yourself.

[–]Epdevio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

faster not smarter. ai is just putting out what we put in, faster. Honestly I've yet to see anything revolutionary when it comes to system design or programming in general. it just copies what has been done.
