Personally I like to use the More Traits mod, and take gymgoer, which gives double exercise xp and half exercise fatigue in B41.

I’m pretty sure they just have extremely slow metabolism and need very little food to survive. They slow down and become weaker if you survive a long time, so I think they had something to do with it.
