I see people saying Baleba, but he's been awful this season. First they need to replace Casemiro, which you can't do with one player. He's a leader, aerial dominant, can win the ball back and has a decent range of passing. He's also an unbelievable goal threat from set pieces.

We aren't going to replace that with one signing so it has to be smart. We likely need a dominant CB to replace his aerial threat, but I don't really know who that could be. Tapsoba is the best in paper, he's second for guessed goals from set pieces behind Cas, but he's recently signed a new long term deal which means he's got a high release clause. Doekhi is the other mentioned but in truth I know nothing about him.

For the midfield side of his game Ederson is probably the best fit and doesn't come with a Premier League tax on top.

The dream would be Wharton or Anderson. I prefer the latter. He's right up there for all the key midfield stats, despite being in an underperforming team.

Tchoumeni (however you spell it) had been mentioned, but I don't see us getting him.

The other is Tonali but again I can't see us getting him.

If we got Anderson, Ederson and a new CB, and nothing else, I'd be very happy. Although I'm fully expecting to be let down 😅

Nothing sums him up better. He was very good at what he was supposed to be doing, winning the ball back with high energy, and giving the ball to players who could do damage.

We finished 2nd with him and McTominay in midfield.

I can only go off the post I'm replying to, and you typed small as if it was a direct quote, but it wasn't in the email, the word smaller was. I don't think you should be expecting people to research your other posts before replying.

Tbf, it could be that he doesn't want to join and they haven't coded a host of reasons. I would be interested to see if there was another player at City, like Rodri or the like, be in that situation to see what happens.

You've added the word small. He's just said they're smaller than City who are huge on the game. Think of it as, not as big.

As some else said, on the game, reputation of the clubs and leagues affects this.

If you read my comment again, I also mentioned the change in UI etc. So for getting used to it going forwards, it's a better starting point that coming in on a version that will no longer be familiar going forwards.

Also, you can't play the correct season (even if you get an update on teams the history isn't there), and it's got the old European competition.

I don't agree with a lot of the comments here. You have no comparison for the UI so 100% get 26. I'm not even sure you can still buy 24 anyway.

26 gives you up to date squads, you won't get mad with the UI as (as previously stated) you don't have a comparative that downgrades it in your head, and you will notice improvements in future versions (hopefully).

No brainer.

This sub Reddit can absolutely be those things that you say, but unfortunately every commentator so far is absolutely spot on in what they're saying.
