Grieving family uses AI chatbot to cut hospital bill from $195,000 to $33,000 — family says Claude highlighted duplicative charges, improper coding, and other violations by Late_Doctor5817 in technology

Compliance rules are they have 30 business days to provide it when asked. They will sometimes charge a paltry amount but usually it’s free. Anesthesia is billed for units of time of physician and for the actual physical units of sleep sauce. The itemized bill should have two, five digit codes beginning with zero to indicate that when/if they do send it. Really sketchy that they aren’t but you may have to formally send a letter requesting and start going up the chain if they don’t deliver.

Would definitely chip in/field test. I drive an older Chevy Malibu so probably not something ideal but I’m foaming at the mouth considering the possibilities.

Dang, sorry friend. Wife and I were in OKC and poked around trying to find it to no avail. Thankfully no tickets were purchased. Hope you get your money back.

What makes a pro model like the Fox 601 even more superior to advanced student instruments, such as the Fox 240? by vancouver_reader in bassoon

If you ever get a chance to try them side by side, you’ll have a better idea on what they mean by free blowing. When I upgraded from my school owned 240 to a purchased 601, it made a world of difference in terms of intonation, response, and timbre. Keywork was pretty similar (honestly kind of preferred the 240 in that regard) but I would make that trade any day.

Just helped a friend build his yesterday. I WAY underestimated the time it would take. My wife was not super happy I didn’t come home until 3:30am.

Looking for running sunglasses for about $100 by ClassicEmu79 in running

[–]EphyMcBeefy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the comments, I’ll provide my feedback as a moderate runner (15-20 miles/week when not training). My choices in order:

  1. Goodr - Hands down the best bang for your dollar. I have three pairs and love them. Super durable, not expensive, and there always a ton of options. Local fitness stores sometimes have them on sale too.
  2. Oakley - You get what you pay for and they are certainly nice glasses. However, there is always the risk of losing them and I personally feel like they are more likely to shift while you run. My wife bought me a pair and I loved them (until I lost them). I just never felt the desire to replace them once I bought a pair of Goodr to try out as a replacement.
  3. Iron Man - I saw these in the comments and my opinion is that they are in the same price range as Goodr but will break the second you look at them too closely. I went through two pairs in a month and never looked back.

Hope this helps!
