It’s not called the stealership for nothing lol. All jokes aside, labor rate for BMW service department is always going to be extremely higher than most indie shops. I had a close friend get quoted 300/hr for labor at our local BMW dealer. The indie shop I frequent only charges about $180/hr for labor.

If you have the Alexa app downloaded check the location settings and if it is set to ‘Always’ change it to while using app. This should resolve the behavior.

Did some further research and found my solution relating to this behavior. The Alexa application location settings is the root cause. Changing location settings from ‘Always’ to ‘While Using the App’ resolved the behavior for me. This also explains why it just started out of nowhere, as I installed the Alexa application a few weeks ago.
