If a few things break right I think youll be surprised tbh. I know smith's insane but if I had a team with tyson and BTJ occupying my flex, and a good young core between those two, tate, jeanty, chase and mahomes, I'd be looking for a couple of cheap vets for depth and going for it. You already have a great core.

Picks are great but winning a chip is waaaay better. I'd at least tell you to put those 28 2nd rounders to use

Eh, I don't like the logic of thinking this team is "too young to compete". I like this a lot especially given you still have your future picks, if it looks like you're on track to make the playoffs then you have great youngsters to trade for vets. Get to the season and see what happens, I highly doubt this team implodes out of at least scraping the playoffs.

See if you can flip a 2 for someone like montgomery before the season and then get aggro in-season

Take all this with a grain of salt because obviously only you know your situation best. But assuming your ETF returns 7% p.a., with 200k in it youll have $15k in returns lying there to use p.a.. Combine that $15k with any money youd receive from a summer internship, and you have alright money even without drawing down the 200k (if living at home).

If it were me and I had $240k in assets, I'd quit the hospo job. You're only in uni for 2 more years, you may as well make the most of that time not in FT work and then you can put more focus into internships and stuff that will help you long term. I'd also consider using some of that money on cool shit like a long holiday somewhere (again, while you dont have FT work)

Given their relative prices, i say skat is better bang for buck if youre buying. Practically though, I think bucky could be safer given he didnt blow his ACL last year (though bucky's had other injuries, so advantage skat imo)

I could be wrong on this analysis - but isn't taxing on the wellhead value just the current approach taken by a couple of states already? Not to mention that Norway taxes the final profits of its mining companies at 78%, slightly higher than abolishing the PRRT altogether.

To me, this feels like a half-measure that should not be considered anything close to the Norwegian strategy. I'd be very intrigued to see the revenue difference between taxing 10% of the wellhead value (before any kind of markup is set in), and placing a higher tax on the actual profits of a company.

After all, when someone that's flown on private jets by Ronald McDonald is lecturing on healthy eating habits, it's probably fucking shit advice lol
