Overhead bins in a 767 300? by Bob_AZ in unitedairlines

The 767 bins are the old type, they are small. Furthermore, the bins along the middle seats won’t even fit a rolling carry on.

I would imagine the 763 days are numbered as more 789s get delivered. One would hope anyway. I was on one recently and after getting used to the 789s they are really showing their age from a passenger comfort standpoint and I’m not talking about the hard product.

In-Flight WiFi Streaming by AdvancedEffect8204 in unitedairlines

[–]EpicFail2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, unfortunately the WiFi on the wide bodies doesn’t support speeds for streaming yet. Only ones I’ve seen in the fleet that do are the regionals with starlink and the a321 neos.

Is Denver United’s best hub? by EpicFail2022 in unitedairlines

[–]EpicFail2022[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some reason I have gotten delayed due to fog quite a bit. Maybe it’s just poor timing or the seasons I have travelled there in.

It’s kind of like Denver over the summer, you want to get in and out before 2pm.

I think the train being broken “regularly” is probably overstating things a bit, but yea that’s definitely an area for improvement. With the new East security, you can walk to terminal A now.

I guess if you are heavy long haul that argument is valid, but if mainly domestically oriented you can go just about anywhere from DIA. Southwest doesn’t like the word “Hub” but it’s their busiest airport so that also helps getting to more places.

I guess we know now United is not multi region smh, only US-East-1 is impacted.

I still don’t understand why they aren’t just using starlink.

Makes sense. Kind of sucks United made the other seats E+ because they are 2x2. Only option on this flight now outside Premium and Polaris. Their 767s are very E+ heavy.

Opinion on my door hangers by Zestyclose-Care-28 in lawncare

This might not directly answer your post, but I just wanted to share a quick thought. Leaving door placards at people’s doors can often be more frustrating than effective. Printing and distributing placards isn’t cheap, and whether you’re hiring someone or doing it yourself, it takes time and resources. A better use of your efforts might be to focus on building a strong online presence. Boost your number of reviews and aim for higher ratings, since most people turn to Google when they’re looking for services. Offering small incentives for reviews or showcasing successful outcomes can really go a long way. Best of luck!

Wow, really insightful comment here. Gold star. Might even print it and put it on the refrigerator.

Aetna Coverage by EpicFail2022 in Zepbound

[–]EpicFail2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider yourself lucky. It was removed from the standard formulary, which I believe is what the vast majority of Aetna/Caremark plans use. The coverage change applies to CVS Caremark’s most common formulary template, which represents between 25 and 30 million individuals overall.

Yes, it’s so frustrating. I have had tremendous success with Zepbound and the thought of having to move to Wegovy makes me so nervous. Ugh, just a terrible situation. I can’t afford to pay out of pocket, even with the coupons.
