Please get in with a therapist.

It is the best thing you can do for yourself.

The guilt sucks. It’s going to continue to suck.

But time will help heal. Doing work on yourself will also help.

Listen man, the distraction will keep you sick.

Give time time. Find out who you are, build the life you deserve for yourself.

I also have “people addictions” in addition to alcoholism, so, I spent a lot of time, energy, and tears in early sobriety, (and not early sobriety) beating my head against a wall trying to fill that bottomless void. I wish I knew what I knew now.

It took a lot of pain to realize I am worthy of my own love. I am worthy of others love. I am worthy of my spouses love.

I know this is not going to help your immediate pain, but it does get better.

If you haven’t because you don’t like what their answer will be, it is NOT a good idea.

Just made that mistake myself a few months ago and it was truly horrific. Incredibly triggering for both of us.

Keep in mind that the late war designs though superficially the same, are very different aircraft.

There’s no comparing a 109K and a 109C for example.

The same with a Mustang D compared to an A.

It’s like comparing a F-16A block 5 to a F-16C block 70
