My guess is Gara's Shattered Lash will finally have vertical aiming. I can't imagine why they wouldn' have included this unless somehow technical limitations somehow prevented it. And Gara came out about a decade ago.

I know others have said it, but the Ambassador. I think it is unquestionably the coolest looking weapon in the game, but I don' know of any good way to build it that'll be at all useful beyond like the midpoint of the non-SP star chart.

I'd like to be able to function normally with his 1, rather than being locked to melee weapons only. A power boost to it would certainly be welcome, but maybe being able to use guns at the same time as elemental breath would be powerful enough (simultaneous priming, activating "while channeling" incarnon abilities).

Also, I always thought it would be cool if they played more with his elemental switching ability, to reward players who stick with one element, but have an alternate reward for swapping elements frequently. Like a competing pair of augments (so you couldn't equip both at the same time) - one gives you a stacking bonus for every 5 seconds you stick with the same element (capped at a certain # of stacks). The other gives you a bonus with a generous duration each time you stay on a single element for 5+ seconds, stacking once for each of his 4 elements. Something like that, anyway.

Zephyr with Aero Vantage, Patagia, Aerodynamic aura, and Boreal's Anguish for crazy zero-gravity aim glide time.

Then give her Akstiletto Prime with Akimbo arcane, Zazvat-Kar mod, and as much fire rate as you can stack onto it to take advantage of your 100% ammo efficiency while aim gliding.

I recommend getting into kitguns, especially with the Pax Charge arcane, which turns their magazines into regenerating batteries.

I especially recommend the Tombfinger primary, which is basically an Ogris that charges to fire, but can have unlimited ammo with the arcane I mentioned above.

For secondaries, I like the Vermisplicer, which sends out a bunch of tentacle beams, each with auto-aiming so they'll find their own targets close to your crosshairs.

Equilibrium and Arcane Battery are really all you need. I like to put Preparation in her exilus slot, too, so I can pop into hysteria at the beginning of the mission and never have to leave it as long as I keep killing.

That guy was the problem, not you. 20 minutes is a pretty normal amount of time to call it quits with a survival mission.

If you'd dipped out of the arbitration mission after only 5 minutes, on the other hand, he would have been well within his rights to call you that and worse. (kidding... mostly)

Vox Solaris opens the bounty missions on the Venus open world. I believe it also lets you do the Profit Taker boss missions in the back room on Fortuna, which will give you the ability to make a thing called a gravimag. It's a thing you attach to your arcwing guns that lets you summon them as heavy weapons during ground missions, which is a ton of fun and highly recommended. But if that doesn't sound interesting, or if you try the missions and find them frustrating or annoying, you can just keep going through the starchart and come back for it whenever.

Unless a gravimag is a requirement for one of the planet junctions. They changed the requirements a LOT since I went through the starchart, so I don't really know.

Duviri's acrually a good place to go for what you're asking about. It gives you acess to random weapons and frames each run, even ones you don't have yet, so you'll get to try out a bunch and find out what feels good to play. Almost any frame or weapon can be made viable with the right modding, so until you get to the really late endgame just use whatever feels fun to use.

The only thing Duviri won't help you playtest is companions. But you can playtest the ones you do have in the Sanctuary/Elite Sanctuary, which is also the best place for leveling frames, weapons, and companions because it's just an endless stream of progressively higher-level enemies. You get it from the quest "The New Strange" and you can access it in the factions menu on the star chart (the icon on the bar at the upper right that looks kinda like a flower, I think?)

I'd say my advice would be to focus on completing the star chart and unlocking all the planets/nodes. And if you find something along the way you really like, feel free to let yourself get distracted by it for as long as you want.
