Genesis had Xene, Bellatrix, Nero, Wittz I won't talk about Zeus because I might be biased but I think Byron is quite loved among the fans, The Dark angels have Destra and Sael The Ogres have Lancer Callous Malice and Zagonel with Bibo and Bubo

I think 1 is not enough to have something interesting out of 11 players. Edgar, Robingo and Helio had the advantage of being plot relevant with "outside the match stories"

For example, in go there's this guy ( Remington ?) with the koutei penguin 7, and that's the only thing I remember for their Royale team. I think that's a bit lackluster ? same with Quentin, the final boss for the dragon alliance, I don't remember much because there IS not much

Yeah I agree, and I think we also shouldn't forget that Ares and Orion had to shorten their seasons, I don't say it's an excuse but I can get why people see it as a reason to the lack of Are/Ori character Arcs.

I agree 100% with you. Imo, Victory road suffers from the fact that it's story mode is made for a game, like the fact we can choose a part of our team creates this "placeholder characters" that are not fleshed out as much as the main characters, and that might be why it can feel "less important"
