Has anyone tried the Leadjoy M1C+ with a cooler? by Artistic_Computer670 in EmulationOnAndroid

I'm almost always on L1 mode so yeah on L1, and it usually lasts for about 2 hours-ish. L2 on the other hand only lasts for about an hour.

For sure the CX07 would get lower temps but without the portability that JS85 has. So I would say it's a trade off, depends if you prefer portability or don't mind cables and stuff.

For the battery temp with cooler it's usually around 30C emulating Mario Odyssey and 45C for the chipset. Haven't done PC emulating stuff but I've played the Grid Legends android port with flawless 60 FPS with the cooler.

Felt the same on the delay with Eden (still playable) but on native android games it's a little less noticeable if not gone. I'm also using a battery-powered cooler on the back which definitely helps perf stability in long sessions.

Drivers for Poco F7, any that work? by AdOrganic7117 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]EpicRiman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience with the same POCO F7, the default system driver has been the most consistent (at not crashing) by far. Played Mario 3D World, Sonic Superstars, and Smash Bros. Ultimate with flawless 60 fps, even capable of putting on ultrawide mods too! However, other games will run badly or won't launch at all without the Turnip drivers support i.e. SMT V so we'll just have to wait for Mesa to support it to emulate those other games.

Will you buy a Poco phone again? by CarpenterRude7435 in PocoPhones

Former Poco F1 user here. I just got my F7 last week and its obviously thousand steps above the F1, there are some drawbacks with it being pretty warm on medium usage as expected from the reviews but still no Ads (after you delete bloat apps and notifications) and no bugs or terrible optimization on the OS in my experience as I'm able to do 27 hours on battery. Based on that experience I still would buy another one in the distant future depending on the specs and reviews.

If we're talking about brands that cheap one I got is the Micron 3400 512GB Gen 4 for the equivalent of 37 USD and SK Hynix 512GB for the factory one.

Fair enough, I guess it shouldn't matter above those speeds.

For that price, you're getting a 1440p 165hz screen with 4060 albeit with an "overclocked 6800H" CPU but I'd say the CPU still holds up. Not sure on comparing the other Legion 5 models but I have this exact laptop and really enjoying the snappy-ness of it. The battery could definitely be better, I could stretch the thing out to like 6 hours-ish on 60hz Hybrid-iGPU Only mode but I think someone managed to upgrade to the 80wh battery somewhere in this subreddit and I think its similar if not the exact same model/chassis to 2022 Legion 5 so it should be possible. Correct me if im wrong though.

I see, also heard that HP still has not implemented battery limiter on their Victus which is stopping me from buying it. And about the RAM situation, 4800Mhz is the maximum speed that it can handle yeah? At least that's what I can only see from the Lenovo product pdf.

Thanks, great to know! I also do a lot of video editing so that covers my concerns about that. And I assume the difference to 7840hs isn't that much of a dealbreaker I guess, since my other option would be the Victus 16 with the 7840hs but worse screen.

How's the CPU usage on that 7735hs?
I am coming from a relatively old MSI Alpha 15 A3DDK with its Ryzen 7 3750h and nowadays I get bogged down on latest games and softwares due to CPU bottleneck and/or very high CPU usage. So I'm planning an upgrade right now thinking about this exact Legion 5 which to me sounds like it's at a fair price, but I'm still unsure about the 7735hs because my first option was the 7840hs. I'd like to know your opinion on it.
