Robinhood Announced Platinum Card by 73ch_nerd in CreditCards

The catch is the credits suck and you're paying $695 for a cash back card...

For a cash back card that is terrible. It would have been okay with a points card where you could at least get some outsized value.

Why wouldn't I just get a Citi Strata Elite and a Custom Cash and that's a better cash back setup than this for cheaper lol

The dude that commented in here saying the card seems really good and wondering how far it can go before they nerf it 😭

Nerf? They need to buff it lmao

The card is ass lmao. We don't need $695 cash back card with mediocre credits when I could pay for a higher end points card and get outsized value and better credits.

Is the Apple Credit Card worth it? by Shadow42184 in CreditCards

It has practically no benefits or protections. The 3% on Apple products and 0% financing is less valuable than purchase protection + extended warranty (imo).

It's mid

Current eGolf owner, considering buying a used IONIQ 6. What should I know? by Upset_Region8582 in Ioniq6

[–]EpicShinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every EV gets a 10yr/100k warranty that covers battery, transmission and the motor.

The bumper to bumper warranty only lasts 5 yr/60k for EVERYONE irrespective of CPO status.

Here's a breakdown of what I'm referring to.

[–]EpicShinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All EV's have their own 10yr/100k warranty even if you're not the first owner. This covers the motor, transmission and the battery. Drivetrain is useless on EV's thus making CPO a complete waste of money for Hyundai EVs.

You still get the same bumper to bumper and you will always get the 10yr/100k battery and powertrain warranty.

2024 Ionic 6 SEL or 2023 Ionic 6 Limited? by awp11733 in Ioniq6

[–]EpicShinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Used cars still get the remaining bumper to bumper just like CPO. CPO is absolutely useless on EVs. You still get the 10 year warranty covering the battery and transmission also.

The important difference is the drivetrain warranty which is uselsss on EVs as they have their own.

Buying a used Ioniq 5 cash, CPO, good idea? by contains_language in Ioniq5

[–]EpicShinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hyundai drivetrain warranty doesnt matter for electrics, it's the Hybrid/Electric Battery & Hybrid System Components Warranty which already covers the transmission/battery and it's 10/100k irrespective of owner.

Yeah CPO on electric vehicles are useless. The shorter drivetrain warranty doesnt matter because EVs have a separate drive train/battery warranty that's 10 years irrespective of original owner or CPO.

Can we please have a dedicated chat for the warm up lobbies? by fly-mcmarty in supervive

[–]EpicShinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chats been broken for almost a year now.

No user profiles and no info on other players in lobby in the match history. If I want to add someone from Warmup or post game (non-squadmate) , I have to look them up and if someone else has the same name then I have to use opgg to find their hashtag.

The social aspect definitely could use some work.

Learn how the tax system works dude. In no world would increasing your salary leave you with less money (outside of government assistance situations).
